So many people criticising CHC so much, but it does nothing to change the situation.  The only thing one can do to really make changes is to go to CHC church on Sundays and tell these things written here in forum to the followers.  But who will ? Lol. 

Not easy to change those already brainwashed by cult. Only when they become too dangerous and the authority has to take actions, then we can see they are dissolved.

Yeah, so In the end nothing changes. But I myself also won't go to the den to wake up their ideas, as they make chase me away, even though if my intention is good.  Maybe someone very articulate and eloquent and convincing should go there and give them a wake up call.  Otherwise the whole CHC problem is status quo.  My point is, we all know something is really deeply wrong, but nothing is done to correct it.

have you seen couple fighting and when someone trying to help the woman, the woman turn around and scold the person trying to help?  there are something inside that make her stay despite been abused., the only way is for her to wake up and heart die.

Their major doctrine is prosperity gospel.. They have been fed a distorted view of God and what the Bible says.. u think that is a true Christian church?  How can a church be true if it is lead by false preacher/prophets?

Based on my limited understanding on Christian theology, your charge is controversial at best. Going by the above, one can be much much more forgiving of the church body (so long they lean on the bible - on my spectrum, I think their crime of doctrinal mis-emphasis is much less serious than say "we worship the current bloodline of christ-kind-of-thing")

 

This forgiving stance also is in line with the idea of final judgement resting with God - who else can really see CHC followers' hearts?

 

That said, false preaching is clearly cautioned about in the bible and approach is to guard against or rebuke. And God will handle the rest. 

 

In fact if you view all these events in the context of God's love and forgiveness, even false preachers deserve forgiveness.

 

Overall, I submit that CHC is more a church that has lost its way. Not as a cult you charge.
