In the subforum, the dropdown is not there. Need to go into the thread at the end of the page then got the dropdown.

there is an arrow at the end of each title .click on that instead..

it will take u to the last unread post.

sure, but it is such a small rectangular link to click compared to the thread title area.

 

and the default behaviour should be the most useful and convenient for users.

at the main forum page, there is a "new post since last visit' click that will lead you to the threads that you last visited, click the thread title will lead you to you last read post.

 

I can click on the thread title and not the small round or triangle link.

We note your feedback. Its not an isolated one, so don't worry, you are not the odd one out.

 

I will have to shamelessly say that the layout was designed this way so that users have to take the longer route, ensuring our advertisement spots get more exposure.

Need to answer to bosses with some revenue.

 

But hey, we added the arrow box as Rainbowbiatch pointed out. For old birds like you to always take the short-cut.

Not sure if anyone has raised this. Is there any repercussion to removing anonymous "praising" and "junking"?

I don't anonymous praise nor junk anyone and when I do junk, I always leave a reason behind, neither do I junk very often (once so far?).

 

I'm raising this although it doesn't bother me THAT much, my inquisitiveness forces me to find out what I've said or done wrong.

 

If not, at least make it compulsory for putting a reason when junking?

MCF seems intent on keeping it. Maybe to hide the identity of those doing some Junking.

Both have limited use.

Junk is worse - I have had my posts junked - posts which I felt were appropriate & just my opinions & misundertood by the reader. A forum is meant to share differing views (within limits)

The praise & junk meter along with the points is a distraction.

Or rename the Junk name ..... it is derogatory.

We did not make any changes. Mine are all there.
