Drink Driving Friends

I think when people are drunk, their emotions are heightened so they cant really control their anger, sadness etc

Best to keep away from alcohol

Drinking vs driving. If I had to give up one thing for life, it'd be drinking for sure. These f**king si ginnas have screwed up priorities. Especially considering that if they acted responsibly, they wouldn't have to give up anything at all.

I let my car drink petrol instead of me drinking alcohol.

One glass of beer = 4L of petrol, worth it :D

Supersonic

Friends ?

Well, they know the consequences.

I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince them otherwise.

They will learn to regret only when they are behind bars for killing or maiming someone.

Turbocharged

Not commenting on the alleged drink driving but have some general thoughts

1. Is wrong to drag in employer to a private matter - who the Mitsi driver is employed by is irrelevant

2. Is wrong to publish address like this - I would think would fall under anti harrassment law - hope the facebook poster is very secure in himself

3. Hmmm...wonder - could this fall under libel? there is no proof the guy was drink driving, especially now, seems foolish to post so much detail on social media like this.

All in all, I think the facebook poster, outside of all the other rights and wrongs of drink driving, I think the facebook guy is being a bit too heroic

If you drink with your friend and they insist on driving, don't take their car even if they offer to send you home

Don't be cheapskate. Spend some money cab or take night rider.

You may not reach home alive. Not worth it to risk your life over $30 cab fare.

You didn't follow the whole thing carefully.

1. Driver refused to apologize to victim

2. Victim called police to report and followed driver home

3. Driver refused to open door after police arrived

1. Refusing to apologise...So? FB guy confirmed right? Since when is "no apology" a crime?

2. Police report prove what? Wasn't someone bankrupted over police report?

3. And? Have to open door to police meh? (Unless they have search warrant?

That aside, because it's not the real issue...

1. Publish address is wrong...encourages vigilantism

2. What does it have to do with driver employer?

3. Accuse someone drink driving, when no proof I think invites a civil suit from the vindictive...It is a serious crime that damage reputation.
