No wor... The mid and top level managers at my place are hiring their own at high wages and positions.

Definitely not cheap..

My boss 2 levels above me was changed a few times... And all those came in belong to the same South Asian 'talents'. Not once a local Chinese, Malay or Indian. In fact, they have already dominated the level up there for many years.

And btw.. The ah tau in HR (exclude the ang mo from HQ) belong to the same country too...

GG liao loh... game the system in our own country... and also dunno Y over in Sg.. HR can be staffed by foreigners 1... like asking 4 it...

but root of problem is still the leg open wide wide policy... plus little and no scrutiny/ QC of foreigners coming in....

What happen to the foreign worker quota that MOM set?

Not sure if it's true to have that many foreign staff and consists so many pinoy.

If it is, then it's no wonder TTSH wanted to speak up for that trash.

Good question which only TTSH or MOM has the answer. :D:D[lipsrsealed][lipsrsealed] Based on the general guide line it would be quite "challenging" if the percentage is true. [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Yes, if it is true, TTSH needs to carefully exercise emotional management or service recovery as the majority of its staff are of same fellow countryman.:ph34r:

Not too sure whether true or not, since it came from a staff...

Anyway, thought we are producing a lot of nurses, through nursing course conducted at ITE, etc...

Where have all these ppl gone to?

If local companies are not employing our own ppl, how can we prosper as a nation?

What's the point of employing so many FTs when on one hand, they kudos to our every instruction, and on the other hand, scolding us at the back?!

To be a strong Nation, one must rely on our own ppl .. to stand up !

looks like this was published in a newspaper

if this is not true, TTSH will give a statement to correct that

but rooks like dont have leh

TTSH cannot deny to say we aint know this cause

newspaper is considered public information

haha.....same same....but i read without classes maybe due to the fact that i had myopia since army but only started regularly wearing my spec in my mid 20s. Nowadays when i meet up my old friends most of them would be wearing reading glass when reading msgs. I am the only one that need to take out my specs to read.......hahaha!

we do have something in common. I feel a bit better in those situation, but I think it is gonna be short live as sooner or later we need to wear reading glass to do it. [wave][wave]

the other question is will any other country allow Singaporean unfettered excess to their employment bank.......i think none especially those in the developed world. I heard Abu Dhabi and Dubai have a lot of opportunities....but that is another story. Edited by Eviilusion

General guide line always look good to all. However, on the practical implementation, more "adjustment" to be made. [hur]

Most pinoys are just here to eke out a living.

I know many of them, they are generally good people. Lazy ones yes like all cultures have.

Sad fact is that local nurses are in demand to become clinic assistants, nurses in private sector. Quite a few change jobs or drop out after marrying.

The pay has improved but how many people want to do shift work, get scolded so often on a daily basis (by sister or patients) and wipe people's kar cheng? Do you want your daughter to be a nurse? Honestly?
