I do understand there is 4 model of CHR

1.2 turbo

1.8s

1.8G

1.8icon

 

Is it true that 1.8s & 1.8g Horsepower is only @ 98HP? Where 1.8Icon is 122HP. If the 1.8S Horsepower that low..will the car be powerful enough to go on slope?

 

those low HP ones should be hybrid, there is an eletric motor to supplement torque, so the effective HP and torque is not just limited to the gasoline engine only, although on paper only shows the gasoline engine specs

So whats the total horse power for 1.8S hybrid & 1.8G hybrid both interior looks very basic. As for the 1.8icon hybrid the interior looks better with blue lining and price point looks alot more ex than the basic.

I feel depends on individual. For me I will ask myself on features i can't/won't mod later, e.g. Keyless. Whether you want this feature.

Others like sport rim can be fixed later.

Now PI selling for about $120k++ for LED version.

If I'm not wrong the Aussie's real world figures are based on 1.2 Turbo 4WD so 2WD will be slightly better. It's higher than stated but I think reasonable compared to others in real world also (see comparison article).

 

If I recall correctly CHR hybrid almost same quoted FC as new Prius as they use the same drivetrain (unlike Sienta, Axio Hybrid etc).

i fell in love with the blue colour since i saw it online. but i was afraid to jump in and pre order as cannot see any actual car. but now since many pi have cars in their showroom. its actually very beautiful in real life. best of all this car is approved by wife!!! and my kid loves it when the welcome light shines on the floor with the chr logo.

 

just found this club today and hope to join in for any meet up once i collected my car. i placed an order for C-HR 1.8S blue colour with LED today with this company called Meyer Motors. paid 120800 with guarantee coe. they had a cheaper option of 118800 without guarantee of coe which i wasnt comfortable. is this price ok? 

 

hope to know more about this car from you guys.
