Is there something wrong with the SMC environment that allows hanky panky to go on?

 

Or is the authority figure too centralised into one person?

 

No checks and balance to ensure that leadership is not abusing authority.

 

No fellow MPs to remind them, "HEY what do u think u're doing?"

I think... why there was no clarification in the first few hours, unlike the Palmer case where Teo Chee Hean dragged him to press conference to resign and apologise... is that this chap probably confessed. So 坦白从宽 (Communist slogan: be frank and the party will be lenient).

 

If not people will definitely question... why did they handle it with even less transparency than the Palmer instance.

Waste taxpayers money for bi-election, because of MP's irresponsible actions.

 

Some of the civil servants in that constituency are also victims, don't think many enjoy doing election duty, more than 14hrs of work in a day, either long hours of standing or long hours of sitting down, physically and mentally exhausting.
