Shared path is same as shared road.

If car need to slow down for road hogging and slow moving cyclist. 

Then cyclist need to slow down for ppl walking.

Then Shared Path should only allowed "Slow" Bicycles like Rental Bike,out for those Racing or Mountain Bikes with Many Gears.

Does not matter what bike u ride.

Share bike. Racing bike. Mountain bike if need to slow down. Need to brake mean must brake.

We see road hogging cyclist. I drive lorry or sport car or Ferrari also have to brake.

Well. Can only say the cyclist in sg esp those so call 'high class cyclist'. Their road morality level cannot match or catch up with  our country system and infrastructure yet.

Most of them still in 3rd world level mortality  level. Which is why ppl keep calling for number plate and insurance for road cyclist.
