Reckless Cyclist

Most people are Zombies.

Automatically doing everyday things and sleep walking thru life.

Then something like this happens and they wake up from their stupor.

But its usually not a traffic incident but a medical incident.

Like a doctor telling them they have incurable disease and they are going to die.

Their first reaction is always "Why me?"

And that is the most stupid question because unless you are the first person in the history of mankind to ever get an incurable disease or the first person going to die then you can ask that question!

If a doctor told me I am going to die I would say "Why not me?"

Because many people had an incurable disease and I am very sure in the history of mankind I am not the very first person that is going to die!

Anyway these 2 will probably not be feeling very happy right now! Maybe even feeling sorry for themselves - why I had to meet that woman?

Now they don't realise it but this is a blessing (actually I hate the word blessing) and maybe should use Opportunity!

So many people when find out got an incurable disease thot this is the worse thing that can happen to me.

But then they wake up and learn to treasure every moment left and learn to treasure their family and friends and relationships that we all take for granted because we think we will all be around for a very long time.

So both ladies can take this opportunity to reflect on who they are and if they want to change themselves.

:D

Please do not climb onto the hood of a car

and if you do

please do not talk or shout or scream at the driver

as it will distract the driver and cause an accident.

:D

There is a kid in everyone 🤪

There is a kid in everyone is an excellent point

that explains drivers mentality on the roads.

Do they want to be a kid that fights driving aggressively and not queuing up and cutting in and playing jam brake when people don't let them cut in?

Or do they want to be the kid that is matured and confident and relaxed and queue up patiently and never cut in?

:D

My MIL says she wants to be kid that fights driving aggressively and not queuing up and cutting in and playing jam brake when people don't let her cut in!

And many idiots will copy her.

Haiz!

Many people are immature but they are just too stupid to see.

So life shows it to them!

:D

This Reckless Cyclist thread and the Reckless Drivers thread have so many excellent examples.

I was a road cyclist way before most people back in the late 80s early 90s then moving to motorcycles and cars

we treasured and understood that bottomline on the roads is to be able to reach your destination safely.

Keep to rules but watch out for your own safety. If you gonna depend on someone else to look out for your own safety then you are not suitable on the roads on 2 wheels.

Any cyclist / rider / road user with a sense of entitlement will in the end one day realise that it is false and regret while lying in hospital. 😂😅

It is always about give and take on the roads.  When Rules and laws really kick in, it is usually too late.

Whose common sense?
Most of material for cyclists are from PAB license syllabus which I had shared a number of times.

This is a good start for our road.

p.s. There was a cyclist riding towards my car at Airport Road entrance into KPE.
