Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 Most AMDK think they are big F here in sunny SG. I've seen some AMDKs with written English worse than my sec sch nephew. AMDK don't border about how you write and if the tenses are correct or not. As well as you can get the facts right and right to the point can leow.... In SG, peoples are trained in school to write proper tenses like past tense, present tense, full stop, exclamation marks, past participles, .... etc ... ↡ Advertisement

Philipkee Twincharged December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 (edited) Not sure what you trying to say but yes there have been fights before How long do you think the driver in the pic took to react Basically what I mean is you can react instinctively but at the same time know what you are doing. That is why there is argument that 1) driver intends to hurt the cyclist 2) driver reacted instinctively - bcause it is possible that the driver's first instinct when seeing his side mirror smashed by the cyclist is to swerve to "teach him a lesson". Reacting rashly might be a more accurate word. The story about swerving because he thought he hit the taxi? Different people have different thoughts so only he knows the truth. In the pic you showed me? I dunno cos it is dumb to get your car up there in the first place. Edited December 27, 2018 by Philipkee

Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 I showed the video to my 3 kids today. The reaction from the girls were, " OMG, is the cyclist ok?" The reaction from my boy was, " WTF, did the truck just hit that cyclist?" We then had a discussion on the incident, and I am glad my years of educating them did not go to waste. How many of you will show the video to your children, and tell them that the lorry driver did the right thing, and encourage your children to do the same thing to another human being? Lai kee chui!!! Sotong1977 4th Gear December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 (edited) When he was knocked, he broke his fall by doing a roll over his right shoulder before he stood up I didn't see his left shoulder or arm being in contact with the ground. In the aftermath video, 11 to 12 second mark, both his hands were gesticulating. Didn't seem injured in any way. Unker's video should have captured his movements then. His injuries better be real, else he's gonna be condemned even more for faking it. Anyway the article said the left arm was bandaged. But I å·¦çå³ç, his left arm didn't seem harmed at any time. The cyclist may be faking it or this may explain why https://www.mgmattorneys.com/blog/2018/01/adrenaline-and-distraction-can-mask-injuries.shtml https://youtu.be/lJ8D5uvhc3M Edited December 27, 2018 by Sotong1977

Renegade777 5th Gear December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 (edited) You need to read the law. 2 abreast is legal on this road. It is just like a Road Hogger slowing everyone down just because he or she is legally keeping to the speed or road limits. It is really stupid if someone has a tunnel vision and unable to judge when to give and when to take. As in this case, nothing would have happened if the cyclist keeps to the side of the road. Instead, purposely ride out to the middle of the road to create issues with another. Got common sense also can see. Tianmo Hypersonic December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 @radx @carbon82 Since both have been arrested and now case under investigation, would it be better to lock up the thread until further information is release by the authority? The debate between drivers and cyclists on cyclists behavior on the road can go to their designated thread?

Is it road hogging? This is a 2 lane carriageway. Anyway, both are dickhead hor. Edited December 27, 2018 by Davidtch
Jamesc Hypersonic December 27, 2018 Share December 27, 2018 The traffic lights was the perfect opportunity for the cyclist to move left, take a break, have a drink and watch all the faster vehicles accelerate away. Instead he used it to block people. What a plucking idiot. The cyclist and those who still supported the cyclist action should go to cycle on the PCNs and pavements to observe how other vulnerable users of the same path behave. Most of the time, pedestrians, joggers will just move to the outer most sides of the lane and let the cyclist pass through, when the cyclist ring the bell. How many pedestrians and joggers really actually still yaya, block the center of the lane and keep hogging it and block the cyclist behind? Or worse hit the cyclist that rings the bell at them? Likewise on the roads, being one of the most vulnerable users on the roads, cyclists should at least have some situation awareness rather than carrying their ego and delay other commuters or deliveries behind them, because just for them only. And this cyclist should have a taste of his own attitude to experience it on the PCN. Ring his bell continuously on a pedestrian who hog in the middle of his lane. And when he managed to overtake the pedestrian, the pedestrian give him a punch on his face. How does he feel?

Simple logic.
