The lorry driver will be pissed off that the cyclist blocked the road, but will not be till the extend till swing lorry and hit him. So he deserved it.

Exactly.. out of the blue windscreen kena smashed leh. The reaction to this is gonna be of shock and in duress as well.

 

Naturally theres a 90percent chance the lorry driver will swerve to the direction of the smashed windscreen leh. U know lar science mah.

 

And lucky he swerve this side. 90percent of driver mind tell him to swerve this side as its safe. If he chooose a 10percent chance on the other direction he will hit cars.

 

Theres a 70percebt chance when ge serve this direction he will hit curb.

But alas he sway the bike happen to slow down and hit the lorry instead

Actually what this bikers ( the Leotarded ones usually) apart from the bikers running errands or going to work ........ the mindset is different;  Apparently they are out for endurance runs which run into hours end at times and sort of adrenalin rush just kicks in and the mind really works in a strange way (like under a kind of trance like state & can get agitated/ballistic easily as they want to cover a certain mileage in certain time and keep on improving on it  ... this is just my personal experience having done othere endurance sports stuff , but only thing is our roads are congested & putting on/ off clips off pedals is not so easy (comes with lots of experience and falls ) and take off can be a little wavy  and need that space when shared with other traffic & here you have a situation

He escaped after picking himself up. Wearing some tight leotards too.

Regulations by the Land Transport Authority stipulate that 

1) cycling two abreast is allowed unless the cyclist is on a single-lane road(Double Lane) and is cycling during bus lane operational hours(No sign of Bus lane).

 

It's pretty clear who is right and wrong now.

 

To be honest, I also TL when I saw the cyclist breaking the mirror on the lorry. Who is going to pay for the damage, the driver from his own pocket?

But actually cyclist has very very good situation awareness.

Saw that snigger when he blocked the lorry.

He knew that he was building up tension, very good situation awareness.

He just over rated himself or under rated his “opponent”

His situational awareness doesn't extend to the fact that he really never met someone who's a siao lang or really prepared to kill him just for a perceived slight. Isn't that how staring incidents lead to fatal slashings or beatings.

Malaysia also has its fair share ... I remember quite some years back a Singaporean died in some part of rural Malacca road race and he might have lost control and died and other participants did not even realize it as the gap must have been wide and he could have been thrown off and fallen into the lonkangs lining the kampung roads which don’t have barriers .... still a misadventure as he could also have suffered a heart attack.
