When tyre lost traction, FWD/RWD/AWD will not help.

AWD fan boys always think AWD makes them a god on slippery roads.
AWD also does nothing on braking.

Pity such a nice car wrecked by a reckless driver. His kaki the white one behind must be shitting his pants.

some Subaru Drivers think that having AWD means they have the best of traction, and thus overestimate their own driving ability.

wet roads, just drive safe. There is nothing to prove by going fast in wet weather.

I’m all for these kind of accidents if they don’t drag others down. Filter out cockanathan drivers who overestimated their driving capability and car. Hurt their wallet and ego also good. 👍🏼

Ever since i know REX STI C.Diff can manually shift 80% to the rear, i have a difference view on REX STI.

EVOs also has a better selector switch. The one that everyone will be missing is the Focus RS drift selector.

Public service announcement - Jln Buroh towards West Coast Highway direction just after coming down the bridge over Pandan River, 3rd lane huge pothole can probably fit a whole 17-incher inside when laid flat.  Be careful.  That said, roads nowadays got sucky maintenance and patching works, especially now - lack of maintenance.

All the maintenance workers are in dormitory lockdown. [laugh]

And AWD will just drive through like a BOSS!

There are many saying that Subaru AWD is useless in Singapore.

Pirelli said Power Is Nothing Without Control.

AWD is only a tool that contributes to better control in limited traction conditions. The more important thing is driver skill, but the even more important thing is prudence and judgment in accurately judging one's own limits and driving accordingly.

Otherwise, as Subaru said, prepare for an Experience Beyond Words.

AWD is excellent for putting power down. However auto plus a puny 1.6NA and on, in the worst case, wet asphalt, how to break traction? Hahhaha. Thus the Impreza 1.6na auto is useless in Singapore.
maybe it might help on a really wet MSCP and you floor it, with 7year old tires.

I am waiting to see some aftermaths of accidents near my block ...my block is looking at a main road and recently with the reduction of traffic,  I can hear a lot more of bikes and cars dragging past my block ... Machiam mini racing track.

I would if my window was facing the road... But I have a common corridor in front... So I worried my cam might be stolen if I put outside... 😂

The difference (apart from the obvious: driver talent) is that even damp mud still has traction to at least one wheel, so AWD helps a lot. But a road with standing water is basically like driving on a shallow lake, when you hydroplane, no wheel has traction, so AWD doesn't help.

Oh no... these dogs are the root cause of soaring insurance premiums!

Braces...for at least $100 rise in premium.

Honestly to that dog of a driver, if you are incapable, please don't do it.

Train very hard and precise before putting everyone in risk.

I recalled that people say that AWD doubles your traction, but 0x2 is still 0

I have one, but mine is bone stock ( as per profile picture ) and I drive it conservatively like a Corolla.
