[Error] Mazda & Vezel Thread

So after a couple of days driving the Vezel, i would like to give the following review.

 

1. Easy to drive, views are unblocked

2. Torque is really decent for a 1.5l of this size

3. Comes up to speed easily and cruises well

4. Feels a bit bouncy but i am being fussy here

5. Excellent fuel consumption so far.

6. Door side storage space is insufficient

7. Seats are not hard enough but still comfy for Singapore driving

8. Engine feels a little rough and noisy

9. Doors are too light

10. Steering is super light but Honda steering wheel gives a nice confident sporty feel

11. Brakes and accelerator are fairly responsive.

 

Overall, i remain of the opinion that my choice of getting this car is good and without any regrets.

On the contrary regarding point no.1, I feel that the A pillar and the large side mirrors actually obstruct my view more whenever I'm driving it.  :blink:

Yes , i have owned and driven mostly premium contis however Vezel Doors are light even compared quite many other jap cars. Eg, CRV, CX5, Outlander etc...

I think this is due to the cost factor as Vezel is not a premium category.

The lightness in this case is not just simply the physical weight but also the feel of closure

 

Anyway its all subjective.

 

To add:

 

12. Interior plastics are fairly good quality (much better than qashqai)

 

I second to that the door is pretty hollow n light.

Somehow the road holding i find it pretty good , won't feel the car is light when driving above 100 kmph.

 

That's the beauty of it.

Understandable.

Sometimes it depends on your sitting position.

They seems to have this at japan and it's original for vezel - 高演色LED照明" with some air purifier feature.

5-6 years old high chance expired already...

Britax - It shows manufacturing date though, 2007 July(I don't think it's expiry date). It's a little older than I thought.

 

Any good brand to recommend? Getting a new one might be a easier option. Looks hard to install also...

Oh yes the hrv-vezel website. Must really Zeng the car a little before the end of year...

 

Even though I just realize at this moment that I should spend a little more effort on other expired product that I will be using soon...

Car seat easy to buy la. Just need $$$ only.

 

If not you can go onto caraseoul and get those 2nd hand ones below 50 bucks.

 

I bought a recaro one from USA but kinda regretted it after that when I say this korean brand which looked quite comfortable. I think it should be this one: http://www.mummysmarket.com.sg/deal/daiichi-my-first-7-car-seat-50-mothercare-cash-voucher

 

Your best bet is to go to one of those baby shops or even Isetan to see and touch the actual item before buying.

 

Btw, does the vezel have the LATCH system for easy installation of car seats?

I don't know, the manual on vezel looks easy though on the latch system as they wrote a few pages on good and secure when it hook up. Anwyay, I have been quite distracted with more internal disco light, 17' rim..etc. So focus have realign a little now... [laugh]

 

Will go shopping this weekend and get it this time. They previous time I saw, they was quite a number of brand and style until I am a little confuse. The only obvious difference I can see is the price, especially those Kate Middleton fashion lookalike stuff...

Hi everyone,

 

i have gotten my vezel 4 months already. recently there is an issue. My car is fitted with V9 camera, every morning when i start up the car, my camera will say system reboot to protect the car battery. My car sleep voltage is set at 12V and wake up set at 13.1V. When i stop my car to measure the voltage is 12.84V, next morning before i start engine, voltage is 12.13V, any advise?

Sounds normal.

Correct me if i am wrong as i am not electrician but to expect voltage to be higher after car has rested overnite, is just wishful thinking.

Unless your car is park in the porch, being charged overnite.

Hmmm, thanks for the reply, i am also not very sure of this portion.

My setting for the iroad battery level has not changed since i bought the car and it has been fine up til now. if i am not wrong, the battery level sld be ard 12+ volts after overnite rest, ard 11+ volts after car electronics start up and 13~14+ volts upon car start up and alternator running.

Any suggestion on the recommended voltage setting on iroad i sld change?

under the FAQ, it says car camera is rebooted when:

 

It may be because of corrupted files among saved ones or bad sectors in the memory card.

Please format the memory card and check whether the same symptoms are reproduced.

 

No idea about the voltage though.

I am getting mine end of the year or early Jan...

Check with Bro..... you all like to install this simi E-throttle..... how this thng work in real life??... you drive drive, feel like cheonging... press button on the e-throttle to change the simi number (5, 6,7,8 etc)..... then fly off?? or press step hard on accelator, the e-throttle thing auto auto add power and fly?? [:p]

It is just a launch booster.

Basically "shortens" your accelerators activation point thereby giving you a feel that it is launching faster.

 

Actually doesnt do anything else. Useless product imo.

 

Wanna go faster?

Understand your accelerator and where it bites your car's highest torque point and rpm

 

At the end of the day, a vezel is a vezel. It aint about speed.

It just a good commute car.

 

Drive it relax and easy. Thats where you get most enjoyment
