OK this the Japanese direct translation to English Japan Vezel manual. The one and only. Can be difficult to understand but with a bit of head scratch one can make out something. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rar8uyavstpz6wc/Vezel.pdf?dl=0 this is the latest updated HRV user manual. There are some common features to the Vezel. http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/QS/AH/AOG01695/enu/AOG01695.pdf I would usually check both out to have a better understanding. The direct Japanese to English translation user manual remains as my main bible especially on technical specifications details. Do join our FB closed group. There are a few FB groups. ours is the one with about 4.8K members.There are so many helpful members that is willing to help. This is NOT a PI FB group. There is a group meet up this sat Dec 12th at East Coast Car Park F2 at 1400hrs onwards. If you are not aware, Vezel is only for Japan Domestic Market. Outside of Japan are all HRV. The engine for Vezel are different from HRV. Looks like they keep the latest Earth Dream Engine technology for Japan market first. Our PI get them at Japan market value. Our taxes and COE makes them more expensive. Vezel is only available via PI. Honda Japan still sells them at about US$20K-$24K depending on model/options. Under normal condition, you can either manually release the parking brake by pushing down the parking brake button or Automatically, just by pressing the gas pedal in Drive mode. That is if you are Drive mode, with Parking break on then Accelerate. When you are in P, with P break on, the car won't even you step on accelerate. My normal habit is release P brake, move from P to D then slowly move off. This is not true. Chrome side skirt for nice only.Fromt and rear chrome skirts also for nice only to match the chrome door handled in a subtle way. Start car. move P to D can straight away drive off without having to manually turn off parking brake. instead of at P release parking brake then move to D to drive off. Haha Also in keeping the true crossover look, i choose not to have sidesteps which are very SUVish This is not to say that they dont look good. Heres another shot Side skirt more for looks.
