ulysses84 1st Gear October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 Yeah its definitely a gamble to take from PI. However I believe KM doesn't brings in any Hybrid units so PI is the only option. Both got it pros and cons, depends on your car requirements. ↡ Advertisement
AlexzHz Neutral Newbie October 22, 2016 Share October 22, 2016 When you make final payment for the car, do you guys go all the way down to KM show room to submit the cheque or the SE will come collect the cheque from you, say somewhere more convenient for you. holidae Neutral Newbie October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Yup at this point of time, honestly speaking the price diff between hrv and vezel is probably just a few thousand dollars. Factor in all these freebie and peace of mind from AD. It's a clear choice. I myself booked a red hrv on Sunday at Ubi too. did KM say how long it takes to collect the car? Shader Clutched October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 You HRV buyers say the PIs until like so scary. If you know how to take care of your car properly, you won't even need to worry about it breaking down. If you are those that can't be bothered, give you 7 years warranty also no use. Moreover, not like the AD is giving you a full 10 years warranty. So I don't understand the "piece of mind buying from AD" kind of mindset that is portraying by HRV buyers here.

Peace of mind that Kah can offer : - you actually get your COE and then your car - you get whatever you pay for, and not worry about being shortchanged - in fact sometimes you get more than what you asked - you don't need to go nuts about the fine print - if there's a recall, you will get your repairs done - your workshop/dealer/agent will actually be around tomorrow, and not in jail/Malaysia/Timbuktu Sure, there are nice PIs around, but you need to do a lot more homework. And yes big agents may also fold, but that's a matter of statistical probability, and the odds of Kah Motor being around are far higher. My SE from KM came down to my place to collect the final cheque as it was a weekday and my office is not near the Ubi showroom. Really good service from him. therock Supersonic October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 No disrespect to all the bros who had good deals from PIs and have smooth deals. But some of us are too weak hearted to go through that route... cheers

iphone8 4th Gear October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 Yeah its definitely a gamble to take from PI. However I believe KM doesn't brings in any Hybrid units so PI is the only option. Any possible reasons that KM don't bring in hybrid version? don't want to keep additional spare parts, require more technical knowledge to repair? Thinking to get the hybrid version as it is more refined than HRV DX and has better acceleration.

It is between SE and yourself. I prefer to go down to settle the final payment at the showroom.

Thinking to get the hybrid version as it is more refined than HRV DX and has better acceleration. The battery life will be weaker in years to come and also depends on usage . The saving of fuel may be cover the cost of battery replacement. Since the FC for the HRV/Vezel is good enough. It is individual preference.
therock Supersonic October 23, 2016 Share October 23, 2016 I kept wishing for Kah to bring in the hybrid, but they didn't. Lexus gives 10 year warranty and a one for one exchange. I guess if Kah had to do that, they will need to charge more and it won't be competitive. The only thing we as consumers can do is to keep bugging them. I suspect that they have been monitoring the sales of such cars as well as reflecting on the number of electric cars they have sold and realise that it isn't a volume seller.. :( ↡ Advertisement
