Went to IDAC Kaki Bukit about a month ago.. saw all the different cars that kena injury. Wira seems the most chia latz... all smashed up. Either it's the boot / side / bonnet etc. the passengers don't look like they could survive ( if there are any in the first place ) the rest of the Japnanese cars ( i.e Civics, Altis, lancer etc ) don't look so bad. Anyone knows if the Wira has AIRBAG and any other safety features?? ie. crumple zone etc?? Thinking of getting the Wira because of its low price, but now having second thoughts due to the insufficient safety features.

For Wira fans, C&C is still selling this car, and fresh stocks are expected to arrive in April. The demand is still there, the salesman told me. Just a pity they do not advertise this gem of a car - Korean car price with Jap reliability and the interior space of a 2l. Excellent everyday runabout.

Have driven my proton wira for 5 years and time to change car since my paper value is still high. thus i have the following items for sale. 1) Front and rear strut bars ($20) labour on buyer. 2) GTI gear box cover ($20)u can install yourself, quite easy. 3) Rear Spoiler (original from cycle and carriage)($100)labour on buyer. 4) Original Mitsubichi lancer Engine mounting ( Brand new- installed in january, sticker on mounting to proof original mitsubishi parts) Solve all vibration problem immediately. ($50) labour on buyer. 5) 15inch TSW sports rims with Falken ZE512 rubbers 195/50/15 82V. one year old for both rims and rubber ( 20000km) can only carry out the transfer on last week of april before my new car arrives.Offset +40, PCD 100, Center bore 56mm.($300) Labour on buyer. SEE photo. 6) Any other things you guys want we can swop at a price. Pls leave ur email add if any of you wants a photo of the other items.

Seems like a good deal... RM30 cheaper than what I paid.. But too bad, seller is in KL, not JB. heard from malaysian frens that there are proton wira in malaysia that transplant evo engine..can be done? as proton wira is technically a mitsubishi lancer...it might be possible rite?just dat this evo wira is a FF instead of 4wd...sure plenty of wheelspin whn launching

was driving to the company this morning and heard some loud spark sound from the wira in front. the wira is following a car slowly in front of me. upon close inspection discover that the exhuast is emitting small spark from it and it's making a huge sound very soon, the car in front of the wira give way, so the wira starts to accelerate and now, the exhaust is firing out flames instead of spark like the cars in 2F2F first time seeing a exhaust waste spark on wira though it didn't really pull away that fast MY cars really can do a lot of paterns

Hi all,just got myself a 5 year old wira 1.5Gli....after looking at a couple of cars,decided that the wira was the most sensible choice......financially as well as being an all round......point A to B car,anyway after 3-days with the car....i think i made the right choice... ....great value for money,although i am spending to do up the car cosmetically......steering,seats.....etc.....anybody got any comments on this model....or owned this car before/now.....would like to hear from u...

I'm tied between these two options. Need some opinion from u guys. Both cars are 1.5 manual and are priced at around 35K if bought in 2000.
