I think is an insult to the TP... http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin...1067800/1/.html Driver arrested for bribe attempt Posted: 06 July 2010 1335 hrs SINGAPORE: A driver who tried to bribe a traffic policeman into letting him off has been arrested. His car had crashed into a bollard at Petir Road Monday after noon. Corporal Roslan Abdul Rasip from Traffic Police attended to the accident. The man who wasn't at the scene then, approached the policeman and admitted that he was the driver of the car. Thinking that Corporal Roslan was going to issue him a ticket, the driver requested the officer to give him a 'chance'. The driver then took out three $10 notes and placed them on the officer's motorcycle. He indicated that the $30 was meant to be coffee money for the officer in return for letting him off. But Corporal Roslan refused the bribe and placed the 71-year-old driver under arrest. The case has since been referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau. - CNA/jm

  8. Ytd night i was in in my usual trip for food, petrol and car wash. well.. while waiting for my car to be wash clean at my usual car wash opposite New York Hotel. my usual practice will be sitting by the side taking a fag or chatting with my ger ger. As we were engrossed in our conversation, we heard a loud bang! like something like a motor vehicle crashing down or crashing onto something. insticts kick in, we turn round and check out wad happen. jus as we turn we saw this motorcyclist trying to pick himself up. we could sense his urgency that very moment. split seconds later. a big chinese man, rush forward trying to grab this cyclist. it was kinda exciting, but too bad the incident happened quite a distance away if not i prolly would try and grab this cyclist too. in the end the cyclist managed to hop on the bike and ride off, leaving the burly man behind, still trying to chase the motor. best thing is lucky the bag that the cyclist tried to grab was being retreive, i guess nothing is being lost. just shock and disbelief by the victim. paiseh my england not very good. but bottom line is, when u guys go in please practice being safe. esp your wives/gfs handbag. leave it in the boot if needed. dont take it out and flaunt it even if u're carrying gucci, LVs or even bags bought from pasar malam. normally i tell my gf to just bring her hp and stuff 10bucks in her pocket if she has one. always leave it in the boot, initially she dont believe me and protested everytime i insisted to stuff her handbag in the boot. after witnessing ytd's incident guess wad she told me "i scared liao, now i know why u keep nagging at me to keep my bag. next time i guai guai keep in the boot liao."
  9. June 4, 2008 First time 'sex' on video makes settlers see red GEMAS - A Malaysian man who made recordings of his sexual acts with a woman for his 'own viewing pleasure' is in big trouble after the clips were widely circulated and ended up in the hands of the police. The 52-year-old man and his 'partner', a 21-year-old woman, were arrested by police and are expected to be charged in court soon. The man had sought the help of a 21-year-old friend to record the sexual acts in a hut in a rubber plantation early last month, the New Straits Times reported on Wednesday. The friend used his mobile phone to record the deed. The recordings were circulated via Bluetooth and multimedia messaging service (MMS) to almost every settler in the plantation who had a mobile phone. There were three recordings showing the man having sex with the woman. The man had allegedly paid the woman RM20 (S$8.40) to buy a prepaid reload card for her mobile phone as 'payment' for her role in the 10-minute recording. NST said several shocked settlers lodged a report as they were ashamed that such an incident could occur in their community. A team from the Gemas police station detained the two 'actors' from their respective homes on May 26. Also detained was the cameraman. On questioning, the 52-year-old told police that it was the first time he had sexual intercourse with a woman. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...20.html?vgnmr=1

  13. To all Bros... Do not attempt to bribe Malaysian traffic police if you are caught speeding, Extracted from Malaysian forum...http://www.wishclubmalaysia.com/index.php?...iewtopic&t=5335 Be careful if you are into bribing the police This is just a gimmick by police...they will tahan u...then ask to pay bribe RM30...then when u giv they will catch u for bribing them...after that they get RM 100...see how business are done... Newspapers a few days ago. They are raising rewards to police to RM100 for reporting bribes made to them. So if u think u can get away with a bribe of RM50 for a traffic offence, better think again. Cash reward for cops who arrest anyone trying to bribe them KUALA LUMPUR: A cash reward of up to RM100 and a letter of commendation will be given to police personnel who arrest anyone who attempts to bribe them. Acting Inspector-General of Police Datuk Musa Hassan said the reward would be for Traffic, Criminal Investigations Department and Narcotics Department police personnel. He added that the reward was to spur policemen to uphold the integrity of the force. "The reward offer is also to let our men know that we appreciate them for their honesty and loyalty. "We also hope to inculcate in our men that accepting bribes is a very serious offence and does not pay," he added. In Kuantan, Pahang police chief Datuk Ramli Yusuff said the cash reward would be double the bribe offered and up to a maximum of RM100. Ramli told Bernama that the reward would be paid after the person who offered the bribe had been charged and the case concluded in the courts. "I will personally hand over the reward to the police personnel concerned," he said, adding that the incentive would be paid from the Pahang Police Fund. Earlier, at the monthly parade held at state police headquarters, Ramli said L/Kpl Bakri Pandak Ahmad of the Kuantan traffic police was rewarded with RM100 last month for arresting a man who had offered him a RM50 bribe
  14. HI Guys and Gals.. Just bought the B and D KP600 RO polisher last week and finally got to use it over the weekend. Took me at least 6 hours and need a massage now, haha. I will try and briefly describe the steps i took. 1. Shampoo with Megs Gold class shampoo 2. Claybar 3. Turtlewax swirl remover and buff off with KP600 4. Megs NXT Tech Wax and buff off with KP600 5. Megs #20 Polymer Sealant. Applied with foam applicator and wipe off with microfibre towel. I like this product as it leaves a nice glossy look on the surface although i am told the #21 is better. You can view the product on this URL. Just copy and paste. http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-liquid-car-wa...Polymer-Sealant 6. Finished off with NXT Speed Detailer for that extra glossy look.Spray on and wipe off. I am not sure if i should be putting any products over the #20 but i always liked the shine and gloss from the NXT Speed detailer. Any bros here can advice if my steps were right or wrong considering the products that i have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are the photos i stored in webshots. Wish i had a better camera. http://community.webshots.com/myphotos?act...security=FCnAaj
