I did a forum search on 'Adblue' and no results came up. So I am starting this thread to share with you a recent Adblue refill experience on a rental Audi A6 Diesel Estate car, while on holiday in the UK. My family had gone to the UK for a driving holiday this winter. We rented from a company called SIXT, picked up the car at London Heathrow on arrival, and drove out of London immediately on the day we landed. In winter, hours with light were shorter so I had to maximise daylight time for all the driving I had to do. The plan was to go as far north as Glasgow and Edinburgh, before driving back to London. I had booked an Estate Car (so that we get more boot space for all our luggage). I had hoped to get the Mercedes E-class estate but they issued me with an Audi A6 Estate instead. No matter, since this was the car in the same category of rental. This is what the car looked like. It was quite long. The boot was very spacious, as with most estate cars. The car was almost brand new, with just over 3,000 miles on the odometer. Plenty of gadgets to play with, including a very useful Satellite Navigation system that brought us to our destinations efficiently. The car was roomy and the boot (or trunk) space was very good. We had plenty of luggage. Here is a video of the car, including the Sat-Nav system. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think that this model of car (Audi A6 Estate Diesel) is available in Singapore. Now, the point of this post is not just to show you the car, but to talk about my virgin Adblue experience, which will be the topic of the next post.

Anyway, I received this notice to furnish driver's particulars from TP, and it says that if I admit to being the driver, I can take the particulars form and straightaway go and pay up at TP office. Or send the form with cheque (but no receipt/proof of payment will be issued this way). From other people's experience, is there any other method? I recall seeing that SAM machine allow payment of traffic fines, but then again, i may be mistaken? By the way, it's for speeding along Bradell road heading to Lornie, so watch out for it...

Was at London Heathrow catching a flight back. At this airport, there is a Virgin Clubhouse for use of invited guest, so, instead of using the SQ SilverKris Lounge, I went there into there instead.... what a clubhouse... more like a funky club then a sedate airport lounge.... there is a hair salon, a spa, where you can book a facial or a massage, medi and pedicure, sauna, steam room, pool table, nice bar counter with all sort of cocktails, a la carte food, deli bar and a sushi bar.... there's even a pool table and game machines for you to relax until your flight. June 4, 2008 First time 'sex' on video makes settlers see red GEMAS - A Malaysian man who made recordings of his sexual acts with a woman for his 'own viewing pleasure' is in big trouble after the clips were widely circulated and ended up in the hands of the police. The 52-year-old man and his 'partner', a 21-year-old woman, were arrested by police and are expected to be charged in court soon. The man had sought the help of a 21-year-old friend to record the sexual acts in a hut in a rubber plantation early last month, the New Straits Times reported on Wednesday. The friend used his mobile phone to record the deed. The recordings were circulated via Bluetooth and multimedia messaging service (MMS) to almost every settler in the plantation who had a mobile phone. There were three recordings showing the man having sex with the woman. The man had allegedly paid the woman RM20 (S$8.40) to buy a prepaid reload card for her mobile phone as 'payment' for her role in the 10-minute recording. NST said several shocked settlers lodged a report as they were ashamed that such an incident could occur in their community. A team from the Gemas police station detained the two 'actors' from their respective homes on May 26. Also detained was the cameraman. HI Guys and Gals.. Just bought the B and D KP600 RO polisher last week and finally got to use it over the weekend. Took me at least 6 hours and need a massage now, haha. I will try and briefly describe the steps i took. 1. Shampoo with Megs Gold class shampoo 2. Claybar 3. Turtlewax swirl remover and buff off with KP600 4. Megs NXT Tech Wax and buff off with KP600 5. Megs #20 Polymer Sealant. Applied with foam applicator and wipe off with microfibre towel. I like this product as it leaves a nice glossy look on the surface although i am told the #21 is better. Finished off with NXT Speed Detailer for that extra glossy look.Spray on and wipe off.
