  6. Jan 27, 2011 Man fined for saying he was a terrorist at MRT By Elena Chong Kevin Teo Kok Leong alias Muhammad Riduan Teo, 33, was fined $1,000 for saying that he was a terrorist at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange. -- ST FILE PHOTO A MAN who caused alarm to an SMRT customer service officer by saying that he was a terrorist, was fined $1,000 on Thursday. Kevin Teo Kok Leong alias Muhammad Riduan Teo, 33, a mechanic, admitted to using threatening words at Mr Suasni Samuri, 43, at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange on Nov 26, 2010. A Community Court heard that Mr Suasni was on duty when he saw Teo entering the train platform without tapping his ez-Link card. Mr Suasni gave chase and managed to stop Teo, who refused to hand over his ez-Link card to be checked. While Mr Suasni was trying to solicit information from Teo, Teo said: 'You know who I am, I am a terrorist, you know.' Teo repeated the words when asked what he had said earlier. He could have been fined up to $5,000 for the offence. Food can anyhow eat, word cannot anyhow say.

  8. When I decided to go with her, many people were suprised. She is a plain jane, looks older than me and was born in Thailand. Because of other people's comments, I myself began to have doubts over my choice. However, as I got to know her, I found that she was very underrated. As long as I gave her the proper care and attention, she never let me down, never gave me any problems and was always took care of me. During the time I was with her, we shared so many adventures, happy moments and memorable experiences together. Alas, after so many years, the feeling has worn off and I decided to part ways. On our last day, I curtly collected my stuff and walked off without even a look back or a last farewell. Even though my new one is better in almost everyway, I still think of old plain jane and wonder how she is. I hope she will soon find happiness with some one else. Do you still remember your first car?
  9. Dear Porsche Its time we say goodbye to each other. For the past 13 months or so you've served me well. You've rolled with me to the coolest places in town, endured the stares of a million eyes, and tolerated the caresses of some. Letting you go is not easy. You should blame my friend S, who insisted driving his spanking new GTR to my garage and parking it next to you that day. S, who insisted on taking me for a test drive in his GTR and introducing me to a new boundary in speed that day. And of course, blame me for taking his damn bait. So its au revoir soon, my dear Porsche. In your place shall be a new beast, and let those who have wisdom know this, its letters are "GTR". For your price I paid for you I could even buy another SUV to serve as handmaiden to the beast, and have spare change to buy myself some new stuff I've been eyeing. Yeah I'm a GTR convert. Blame it on S. I should keep less friends like him. Your Faithfully, Your soon to be ex-owner LK
