Long story short, just graduated few months back.from TED automotive, Trying to apply for job as finances at home are tight.. currently working as a temp in the meantime to help with income, but it isnt enough to support.. No luck so far with regards to job applications.. Not sure what to expect or how long usually the job application process take as this is my first time applying for job No driving license yet but currently midway taking class 3, didn't take when i was studying in order to focus on studies.. Anyone working in the industry so far? Thanks in advance!

Helping my friend's mother to post. Yesterday at approx 10pm, she was driving her Toyota Vios around New World Centre, a Black Mitsubishi ram to the rear of the Vios, reverse then sped off. She only manage to catch a glimpse of the number plate but couldn't recall the front and rear alphabets. The number is 1292. The Vios is of a bad shape and need to be towed. Hope any of you kind hearted bros able to CSI the number out. Again thanks for the help.

The paper quoted him as saying, "If negative politics prevail, and our younger leaders become reluctant to introduce right but unpopular policies, we will lose a strength of the past - that of being able to look long-term, to shape our future." A total of 22 PAP MPs, who retired at the recent polls, were honoured. They include Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon and Professor Koo Tsai Kee. I used to study at toh tuck that side so along jalan jurong kechil theres this bus stop beside the bukit timah cc. beside the bus stop theres this small coffeeshop at the corner with an open air HDB carpark. there used to be a chinese lady running a nasi lemak stall there! does anyone know where she is right now?? her stall moved off after i left the school too. this was 2yrs ago

Hi all, i duno if it might sound complicated but i intend to use words taken at various locations to form a sentence if those who watched channel 8 serial, they might know (in which the guy actually went to various locations to took photos of the wordings and used it to form a wording) Example of such wordings would be the fish & co beside Park Mall. There's a big word,"Love" outside. i need something like that. i would need to form the sentence "hope you will be mine" or something similar, "Hope u will b my" etc... hope those who might be working around town could help to see if there's any such wordings. if the word is incomplete, say "mile", its ok, let me know, i'll go and take it in a way tat oni "mi" will be pictured, and will need to find the remaining two letters "ne" elsewhr. After slightly more than 2 years (since the day I collected my ride till now) non-stop monitoring of FC for my Optra 1.6A, I discovered some interesting result on choice of petrol grade used. Average mileages per liter when on Ron 95 petrol is 10.55 km Average mileages per liter when on Ron 98 petrol is 11.64 km My current overall average FC is per litre 11.46 km, and I have already clocked slightly above 44 K (to be precise is 44,004 km), and have pumped 3840 litres of petrol so far. So if I were to on only one grade of petrol, I will not have any saving if I were to use only the Ron 95 petrol, and instead I may have to pay more on this

How much fun can one find in a 1.4-litre hatch these days, one would ask. Quite a bit, apparently, if it's the much talked-about 3-door Focus - pleasantly sharp handling, taut body control in and out of the corners and decent ride on the straights coupled to quite a bit of useable space behind (both in the rear seat and boot) the driver. Braking late into downhill corners hardly upset its composure (probably would have upset yours truly's lunch before the car showed any discomfort) and sudden lane changes (not very recommended too often but great shortcut way to check out roll in crowded roads) reveal a nice, firm set up with roll well in check. Only an overly light (for a conti) clutch (my one of two gripes) dents the otherwise lovely first-drive experience. And all this fun on stock 15"ers.... The dash upfront is feels half-a-notch up on quality from the Mk1 but, to my personal opinion, despite the presence of the factory fit head unit, the design takes a step back from the new edge to (new ?) conservative. Even the gearknob feels better tho' the look is debatable. The exterior looks like what I'd imagine a baby Mondeo would have. The lights, the flanks....even the steering wheel looks like it came from the Mondeo. A case of a maturing Focus, perhaps ? Access to the rear, with the doors slightly larger than the 5-door hatch, is decent but that also opens up to the second of the two could-be-better gripes I have - the headroom was surprisingly decent given it's a 3-door hatch and seeing how poorly its s40 brethren fared a couple of months back. However, the side armrests, wich double up as cubby hole covers could do better in the fit and materials department. Cliched as it may seem, one of the better handling cars in this end of the market may just have gotten better (and thank goodness it's a maunal, too, I should add) and, even with 3 adults and aircon blasting upfront, there was hardly a hint of any struggle for breath from the car throughout the drive. Personally, the last time I had so much fun in a out-of-the-showroom 1.4 hatch was with the Leon (for the uninitiated - it's the Seat Leon 1.4, of which only 20 or so units were brought in to S'pore), and this, I'd say, even beats that experience in some ways. So, again, with gusto, repeat after me - lovely handling, terrific ride, conservative inside, could-be-better rear....or, in short, I'd put it down as a most worthy consideration for this market segment. Now, if only the 1.6's came with manuals (but we've all been there before, haven't we ?)

Although all the while it has been marketed effectively as the 323, in its true sense .... all 323 chassis models in Singapore since 1990 actually has a right to the Protege name, and not only the most recent facelifted models only. However, do also note that the rightful owner of the Protege name is actually the 2 litre version which we in Singapore do not have access to. What might also be interesting to note is that all reviews since 1990 has NOISE as a problem but they didnt do anything about it. Automatic Proteges are also no acceleration demons either. They are basically built as standard family cars only.
