TL;DR: A motorcyclist on BKE knocked another bike down and sent both parties off their bikes, skidding across the road. The rider at fault was surely having a good time going fast, feeling the cool night wind against them as they wove through traffic. However, they wove one too many times, and are now likely facing a lot of trouble. What happened? On 21st March 10.40 p.m, at Bukit Timah Expressway, two motorcyclists went into each other after one of them did an abrupt lane change at high speed without even a turn signal in order to exit the expressway. The rider who got hit was knocked down first before the rider at fault knocked into a car and off the bike, as well as their passenger. The condition of the bikers and the pillion rider is unknown. Up to 600 Thai vendors when Bangkok's Chatuchak market comes to Bukit Timah If you’re a frequent visitor to Bangkok who can’t get enough of its famous markets, especially Chatuchak, you’ll be happy to know that we’ll be getting a version of it in Singapore next year – albeit for a limited period. Chatuchak Night Market Singapore will take place from Feb 4 to May 3, 2020, at The Grandstand on Turf Club Road in Bukit Timah. The market will open Tuesdays to Sundays from 4pm to 10.30pm. The 40,000 sq ft space can hold up to 272 stalls that will provide F&B; retail such as handicrafts, fashion, home décor and antiques; as well as services from a mix of Thai and local vendors. According to Imran Mohamad, who is part of the organising team, 30 to 50 Thai vendors will be brought in every week on rotation to make up the 600 from the country that will be selling their wares throughout the duration of the market. One such vendor is Rooftop Barbers Studio, a certified master barber who will be providing artisan gentlemen haircuts. There will also be several hundred seats for visitors who want to enjoy the street food and drinks on the premises. Visitors will enjoy free parking and free shuttle services from locations in Clementi, Toa Payoh and Sixth Avenue to the market. This is the first time that Chatuchak market’s brand will appear outside of Thailand. The local version is the brainchild of Keith Tay, founder and director Chatuchak SG, who used to run a boat noodle business in Singapore. Another famous Thai market export has already hit our shores; Artbox recently held its third iteration in Singapore in mid-November with over 300 regional and local curated entertainment acts, retailers and artworks by visual and expressive artists.

An Audi A4 was seen recklessly cutting 2 lanes along Upper Bukit Timah Road on Wednesday (June 23), which resulted in the vehicle hitting a FoodPanda rider. According to the video, the black Audi A4 was cruising on the right of the camcar when it suddenly swerved towards the left, almost hitting a white Toyota van in the middle of the road. Upon collision, the FoodPanda rider and his motorcycle flew for a short distance before landing in front of a petrol station. It has been speculated by the video's description that the driver of the Audi A4 might have wanted to turn left but failed to form up in time, which resulted in the sudden swerve towards the left. Netizens' reactions Many netizens were upset with the reckless driving behaviour of the Audi A4, which could have prevented the accident if the driver had properly planned his route and was more aware of his surroundings. Just when you thought that things could not get any more ridiculous, Singaporeans will never fail to disappoint. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you today's magic trick: a cyclist with a death wish. It's pretty jaw-dropping even if I say so myself. What went down Despite this video only being 46 seconds long, I re-watched it no less than 30 times! While all the cars on the 5-lane junction wait patiently for the lights to turn green, this cyclist shoots pass the red light onto oncoming traffic adjacent to the five lanes. Like everyone in the office who watched the video, I thought he wouldn't make it, but somehow, he did! Just to clarify, I do not condone or approve of such behaviour. He could have caused heaps of trouble for many people besides himself. He almost knocks down a couple of pedestrians I counted three or four cars that could have collided with him AND A BUS If you thought he got into an accident and the camera did not manage to capture it, watch till the end of the video. you'll spot him cycling along the road with not a scratch on him. Consider my mind... BLOWN. Is he some kind of immortal being? Meanwhile, netizens had lots to say about the cyclist's stunt: I sure do hope that our cyclists in Singapore take more caution while they're out cycling on the road. The bewildering sight was captured in a 15-second video and put up on Facebook, which has enthralled the nation, given how surreal the scene was. It turns out the 11-year-old horse, named Cocorita, was sent bolting out of the paddock nearby after it heard a loud screech from some vehicles, which startled it. The horse is one of 15 located at the Paisano Polo Academy at Turf Club Road. The horse's owner said the runaway equine was found within 20 minutes of its escape. It had apparently stopped to graze on grass along Eng Neo Avenue and a collar was put on her and she was walked back to the stables. Naturally, the video of the majestic animal conjured up references to White Horse, the Taylor Swift song, as well as the fabled classification of certain individuals who enlist into National Service. However, other footage shot by another motorist showed the horse horsing around a little bit during its escape, as it entered a Shell petrol station along Dunearn Road. Last month went to Cheong Chin Nam road for their prata and realised they no more selling prata, only sell tze char, western food and others but NO prata anymore.... Damn sad.... Seems their rival Al Alzar has monopolised the prata business in Bukit Timah. Super crowded. I still prefer Al Ameen's prata.....

I'm looking for anyone with an in-car cam or had witnessed a hit-and-run incident along Upp. Bukit Timah road near Bt. Panjang, around 7.30PM. Bike failed to squeeze and hit the rear passenger side of my wife's car. Left a scratch. Ran away. My wife's car cam could not capture the license plate as it was dark and bike was in motion. There was a Citicab behind her. Let me put this out as a warning to all riders -- you hit a car, even just the side mirrors -- you stop and apologise. If it's small incident, I will let it pass, but if you don't stop, it is a criminal offence to hit and run, and I will hunt you down, and I will make you pay. I've had two bikers hit my side mirrors and ran away already. Not letting this one go easily. And BTW, all incidents are SG bikes. MY bikers seem more in control of their bikes.

Flood waters reached knee-level and some cars were even fully submerged beneath the murky waters. It's hardly surprising but nevertheless traumatic to hear some exotic cars falling victim to the flood.
