  1. [extract] I paid a visit to Hyundai showroom recently and was amazed at the myriad of new shades that the funky Veloster offers. The new colours come with interesting names such as Vitamin C, Marathon Blue and Electrolyte Green. Buyers will indeed be spoilt for choices. Speaking about the colour choice of your ride, it is believed that the choice reflects your personality and even the way you drive. Below is an extract from the CAA Magazine online. Read on to find out what message your car
  2. Hi all, I would like to seek opinions on this 2 choices of colours for SSW Spider for my white Cs3. [Left: Gloss black with chrome outline, Right: Full hyper silver] My reason for choosing SSW is because it's affordable, acceptable quality with warranty, established brand, and I can choose to purchase individual rim in future if necessary. Anyone with opinions on which colour to choose? Also, ideas on other established brands with affordable pricing are welcomed. Thanks in advance!
  3. Other than Ferraris, what cars brands / models have a signature colour? Is it true white is the signature colour for the type Rs?
  4. Any specialist in art/design can answer this question? What's the difference between Water Colour, Poster Colour and Acrylic Colour/Paint? All come in tubes in a box. Acrylic is suitable for what medium? Can dilute with water or need something else? Water and Poster Colour look pretty much the same and can be used on paper, so why the diff? Went to buy some art supplies and realise that there is a great variety available these days. Blur

  8. Hi... During lunchtime today I drove over to Autobacs and bought the bar of Soft99 clay for 17 bucks. I just looked at it again and it says that it is for 'white' cars... My car is a light metallic blue and my wife's is a light metallic gold.... can I use this 'white' clay on our cars?
  9. Very often, I see the pro detailers showcasing their mirror-shine work on black cars only. I agree that black cars will produce the best results when well detailed. But what about other colours? Are they less likely to produce the high gloss as compared to black colour? I am asking this because I have yet to see that mirror shine on other colours. My ride is in gun metal but no matter how I detail it, I can never see that crisp reflection as those of black cars. In fact, I have yet to see such results on other colours like silver, champagne gold. All comments are welcomed
  10. Hi Guys.. Another question regarding spray paints. Any brands of spray paint code their colours exactrly the same to our own car colour codes? Like for example, Champagne Sunny is EVO, Silver Sunny is KYO, etc.. Got such spray paints?
  11. Hi all again... I know there's a post in here somewhere about changing the dashboard lights from stock colours to other colours that we want... But problem is, that post isn't for our Skoda car... anyone here has change their dashboard colour? Care to share ur experiences? I wanna change my dashboard light to match those BMW one... is it possible?
  12. The British American Racing team exists to publicize the activities of its parent British American Tobacco and it is logical that in the world's biggest cigarette market they company should want to concentrate on its most important brand. The rules of Formula 1 do not allow for complete changes of livery but this does not mean that the team, the drivers and the third car cannot be run with a different colour scheme and so this weekend in Shanghai, the team will be in blue and yellow. Anthony Davidson's car will be in 555 livery but the cars of Jenson Button and Takuma Sato will remain as normal apart from the replacement of the team's usual Lucky Strike logo on the engine cover with 555 branding. Several other teams are making branding changes, with Chinese characters rather than the normal western logos. www.grandprix.com
  13. Hi guys your help please.... what colour should I re-spray to?????
  14. I've noticed there are green, blue and pink coolent on the market. Are there any differences in the chemical properties of the coolent or are they the same, just with different pretty colours. I know coolent is basically a mix of anti-corrosion chemicals and ethylene glycol (anti-freeze). So what does the different colours mean? I guess maybe each colour represents different proportions of the anti-corrosives and ethylene glycol mix. What say the resident experts?
  15. Folks This might sound silly but does the colour of a car fade with too much exposure to the sun? I think the interior of a car does but what about the exterior? Are there any wax/liquid protection for both the interior and exterior of a car that keeps fading at bay? I know one solution for the interior is to block out the sun-rays with sun screen. Thanks.
