  1. TL;DR - The Mercedes driver was caught dabao-ing several (plastic) containers of Malaysia’s RON97 and smuggling them deep into his car boot. Inflation is real. Watch this 67-second clip of this driver who has no peripheral awareness, sneaking RON97 into his car. What happened? This SG-registered Mercedes driver was seen refilling RON97 into his plasticwares and tying them up in red plastic bags, slotting them right deep into his car boot. In case you didn’t know, one can only bring a controlled amount of petrol from Malaysia back to Singapore. And it has to be declared at the ICA. Failure to do so will result in a hefty sum, that is definitely not worth the risk. And the shame. Online Comments Desperate times call for desperate measures. Refill first, think later! Netizens were also speculating that his car is not even 3/4 filled in the first place. Which is also another crime in itself.
