Supercharged

Seriously don't think the AD gives a sh!t... not their money... So don't think they care

It is not that they don't care.. when they sell you the car.. they already know how high they can go in the bidding.. all calculate before hand.

All bidding high to secure guaranteed coe before July. Bid numbers seemed low. After July HUat ah.

Or maybe ADs now dont even bother to bid for those with low reserve price. Dont forget every bid submitted need to pay $10K deposit. Maybe those bosses took deposit money to Genting so no cash to bid.

Looks like strong COE will persist despite the higher number of certs available for June.

Then nx month, July, the last month of the increased quota, COE will slide down a bit.

However, car prices will remain high thanks to the brilliant idea to reduce CEV rebates for most cars. I pity Wearnes with exciting cars like XC90 but will find it hard to sell after being slap on a $30k CEV surcharge. n

So unless you go get a Prius or diesel cars.... it will still be a costly affair buying car in July.

As for after July, god knows what will happen as we need to see the quota of COEs that LTA will release. If the govt plans to call for an election in 2H 2015 then I think LTA will issue more COEs.

The bigger the AD, the later they would want to put in the bids cause they knew that their bids will make a difference to the results. Sometime before they can even put in bids, the number is already higher than the reserve price. I think that the reason why they sometime didn't even put in the bids, because it make no different.
