yeah yeah ... scholar make people believe their fantasy thinking ...

Not people think lah ... the scholars in LTA are the one thinking and giving themselves a pat on their shoulder on the great job that they are doing.

Really a smack in the face with their co_ks .... so many changes and yet COE still high.

OK OK i am wrong, it was 90k plus and now down to 70k plus

Heard from an agent that today's bid was not reflective....apparently got system hang towards the last and some bids did not go in. Do not know true or not.

Oh no. The last 2.5 days are kelong bids. The last 25 min are the serious bids. System kok up may be true, abt 40 COE (A) were unused and transferred to next bid.

Those who choose to buy interim solution are prob those that believe prices will drop.

Interim solution? Like renewed coe for 5 years or buy an used car which left 1-2 years?

people think ARF raise to 140% & 180% for omv > $20k ... coe will plunge

people think 50% DP + 5 years loan ... coe will plunge

people think 130bhp Cat A ... coe will plunge

people think quota increase ... coe will plunge

now people think CEVS removed by Jul ... coe will plunge

what's next?

As long as nobody try to say update, revise, change the COE system for their own selfish benefit. I'm satisfied.

Cat A peak was 90 - 70-60+ now right in the last 2to 3 years?

How much do people think will drop to?

The most 50k.. Unless global economy down.. By then most probably won't think of getting new cars then. Unless you are the crazy-rich people. Who have $ oozing out of their ears.

If you have to buy, u have to buy. Enjoy e new car and be happy..

My AD bid 58XXX for my cat A COE even after i agreed to topup 6K last weekend zzz.

Your AD is unrealistic and not sincere in bidding for you. Everyone knew the COE will be around 63k to 66k and your AD should know too. Yet you top up and they bid low for you. It does not make sense. I think time to change AD.

Is it their objective to have low COEs and cheap cars? If not they are doing a good job!

Consider that most people who tried to avoid the loss of $2500 to CEVS were targeting Cat B cars, I see this drop or flat is a good sign. They have push up the price by $10K just to save $2.5K. Well done. After this crazy people is done, we can now lookout for a brighter future.

I think it is not just the people, AD themselves are trying to clear stocks that will have their CEVs adjusted. That's why there are discount that is higher than the change in CEVs which enticed this group of buyers.

actually people should not complain Singapore car price too high, normally a B&B car avg price equals to yearly people avg income is common in a mid-developed country, such as Malaysia, China, Taiwan... almost same figure,

although those developed countries car price low, but their income tax up to 40 to 50%, convert to car price also not cheap

Every revision cost money one. So you bid at $1 then increase by 10$ until 99 $, you pay 9x. I cant remember how much per bid revision, used to be $10 iirc.

no charge for 1st submission. $2 for each revision.

does it mean if i have 1000 orders.. i key in say $ 60K bid (revised 1st bid) x 1000 ICs no.s ..

= 1000*2 = $2000 for the bidding.. and if i revise it again to $66K(2nd revision, i have to pay another $2K ?
