MQX87511 5th Gear January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Defintely. My 2 colleagues, 1 having a 2 years old Jetta and another 3 yrs old Jetta is quite comfortable and quiet during the drive. Only have small issues like gearbox issues and change the gearbox twice. Engine stalled on PIE and nearly cause accident. Engine stalled in various locations 4 to 5 times and have to be towed back to Volkswagen workshop. Other than that, not much issue overall. changed gearbox twice, Engine stalled on PIE and various locations 4 to 5 times, still are small issues appreciate your humor

Spring Moderator January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 May I add my 2 cents here.....I recommend the Mz3 deluxe model now going for around $100k as they clearing stock for a faclifted version. This car should be reliable, MIJ, sunroof, 4 airbags, HUD, nice aesthetically and comes with 3 yr free service. Good value I feel.
Matrix0405 5th Gear January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Suddenly a 100k altis looks like the best deal in 2017. After they shed some staff, Altis is back and maybe you can even receive improved customer service at their showroom. $99,999, 50k for car, 50k for COE. MQX87511 5th Gear January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 actually I was thinking honda city. Cheaper. I put as no 1 choice.... but after you calculate the CEVS effect on PARF, and the altis extra servicing, I think it is only cheaper by 1-2k. everyone here say Altis Altis too many on the road, and long and crowed service queue in Boneo motor, owners hate each other "why did you buy same car as me?"

therock Supersonic January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Mazda 3 is a good alternative to the Corolla. Legroom about 80% of the Corolla. Conti feel and safer.
Kurty Supercharged January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 3) Toyota Alits elegance. $100k. 5 year free service. Guaranteed COE. rebate $43k can I ask a question as I have never purchase a new car before. how does the rebate $43k works? free servicing, do you have to pay for the consumables like engine oil, oil filter or it's really everything in? If COE drop suddenly to that price, no need see liao, they have to give you car. If COE drop before that price, you get the different back in cash. for free servicing is anything due in the service booklet, means your engine oil, oil filter, air filter, aircon filter, spark plug, and any other fluid due for change, all FOC. You just have to make appt, drop and collect, but wear and tear parts like brake pad and tyres not included.
Kurty Supercharged January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 if they secured the COE below 43k .. u get the cash difference back am I correct to say its nothing more than just a gimmick? looking at the current coe price, lets say $50k. how can they get below 43k? IIRC... it happened only once.. when cat B freak plunged to 38k or so... sometime early last year... Edited January 9, 2017 by SuPerBoRed

All car buyers got ang bao for CNY from dealers.
