Becos will be too tiring leading all the way... Most group will rotate whenever it's safe to do so.

This month will see mainly 2 cyclists, rotating one another 😅

Left to right and right to left, right? 😁

To fix cyclist problem, it has to be done in its entirety.

Not just those that use the road as those NOT using the road has a duty of care towards pedestrians.

Nowadays, I support the Authority to implement 1.

For viaduct, I see your POV and I agree to a certain extent.

No.1 is where I think they are unwilling to go, due to their initiative to be car lite.

for tour de Singapore i dunno lah.. I ride alone and stop Red light.. for 60km avg speed got 26km/h I happy like bird liao 🤣

I understand the physics behind it. Just don't understand why must hit speed record during normal exercise.

Well it is a form of exercise but individual may challenge oneself to better their Personal Best.

Strava got many challenges in the App.

For me I passed this stage... as age catch up.. can return home safely that's more important..

runner also got drafting?

is it really an improvement if the difference comes from having a tow?

then it's not really "personal"

reminds me of those wannabe marathon runners that take short cut (or even hitch a ride) to complete the run and/or clock PB

The Group I am riding with emphasize on average speed.

No surges while rotating.

Most importantly, comply with traffic rule.

Group ride only improves my average speed by <10% from 28km/h to 30km/h.

Based on my current state, no way I can join 32km/h without being dropped along the way.

16may2021 1250hrs

lim chu kang road

another gold medal cyclist spotted

tailgating dump truck

quoted

cyclist decided to abandon his friends by slip-streaming the dump truck. Dump truck kept trying to go back to left most lane, flashing his signal lights, but was unable to as the cyclist kept poking his head out on the left side. Exasperated truck driver had to clench his balls and just when he needed to enter PIE, but he did stop behind the zebra crossing at the slip road to shout at the cyclist, who unabashedly and unremorsefully smiled and laughed in response.
