U guys saw the video of the lone otter surrounded by the 9 wild dogs? What did the otter do? He retaliated.

Same case here.

The guy should report police and keep following the cyclist until the police arrive. We cannot tolerate such hooligan and gangster cyclist culture which I am seeing an increasing trend. The authority should chew out a few if these guys , fine them and publish their face to warn the community that such nonsense behavior is not tolerated.

Yes I mentioned before too. If authorities do nothing about this, other group of cyclists will follow suit and do the same thing whenever they not happy about drivers because there’s no repercussions .

Yeah, and that's assuming the driver didn't go provoke the other party.

Try rolling down your windows one day and do a slow drive-by beside every pedestrian, cyclist, Tom, Dick and Harry. Call out to each and every one of them, cursing and swearing at them.

See how many people you manage to curse before someone runs over and attempts to pull you out of your car.

Sure, we can't tolerate such gangster and hooligan culture - not just from cyclist but also drivers.

Again as i said i wont disagree. blBut lets imagine,  when motorcyclists, car drivers, bus drivers , truck drivers all start to stop in the middle of the road and ask for fight when get honked at or get shouted, what society would we become?  I seem to see cyclists  doing this more often, or unless  i am wrong.

Our society has already started its downward spiral in recent years.

Yes, like you say, you seem to see cyclists doing this more often... But I'd say eh - who's behind the camera filming the incident?

Another cyclist? A pedestrian?

Or is it a driver?

So... Who provoked who?

I always thought that such incidents captured always takes two hands to clap and happen - a dick cyclist and a dick driver. If either one's a goody-good guy, that good guy would've already been gracious to let the other party pass first without incident...

U omitted people whose eyes are glued to the handphone and sashayed onto the zebra crossing n get horn at. But this is like the lone avenger asking for a fight thinking that the zebra crossing is a civil rights statement where you need to look out for them instead of them looking out for cars as they have more important Facebook posting to handle

Actually cantonment police hq just round the corner. Go there sort it out lor.

There is a different between doing the right thing vs thinking just what is right for ownself. Let me quote a few scenario to share  my view, a driver who  is driving at 80kmh on lane one of  an express way thinks that  he is doing the right thing, but  he is in fact being inconsoderate , selfish and road hogging , he would better be prepared to get  honked  and flashed anytime but he shall not feel angry about it.

A van who is driving on lane two of a four lanes expressway, he is inconsiderate , selfish and hogging , though  TP will not do anything about it, he would better be prepared to be honked and shall not get upset about it.

Likewise for  casual cyclists who is riding in two, though  allowed,  but he is so slow that he is obstructing the faster moving traffic, he is being inconsiderate,  selfish and hogging,  he should also be prepared to get honked, he can choose to be thick skin and ignore the honk, but he should not get angry about it, especially he knows very well that this will happen. What i see is these people are slow , they know they will get honked  and are prepared to pick a fight because the cycling codes say that they are allow to ride in two, but they intentionally ignore the other guideline that they must not be obstructing faster moving traffic are they inconsiderate? If they are professional cyclists training for  competition, they are reasonably fast and are not causing too mich obstruction to the faster traffic, i am sure many drivers wouldnt mind.

If anyone has been to badminton courts, tell me how many are playing single? No one because they are  not professional and are wasting court time  of the rest. This is precisely the behavior  we need from the casual cyclists.  In fact those folks should go on PCN since they are so slow. What is there to bang about ?

Agree.

All road users must have common sense. Be it in car, vans, lorries, motorcycles, electric bikes, road bikes mountain bikes and folding bikes and pedestrians.

Which I think 80% don't have and probably half of these 80% feel they have done nothing wrong or rather entitled to it.

Like the Bentley driver is an example who went over the top.

No matter which road, all cyclist has to ride in single file. Our road is never designed for bicycle to take the entire lane. That should and must be the rule till our infrastructure can cater for a bicycle lane.

Every morning, you can find cyclists riding side by side along Bukit Timah and Bras Basah Road holding up traffic. Some even chit chat while they ride as if they are having fun while the morning rush hours traffic wait for them. I am sure elsewhere has similar issue.

More TP enforcement is required.

Single file only applies to Single lane per direction road.

I know but taking up the entire lane during peak hours and the 1st lane being bus lane means all vehicles wanting to turn left have to slow down and stay behind these cyclists

The cyclist has to cycle single file in a bus lane during bus lane operating hours.

I wonder what time is it that you encounter these cyclists?

I did not encounter any cyclists this morning.
