I told the fella nicely to call NEA on my behalf.  Don't expect everyone who to call.

A few years back I saw a small bat on the floor in front of my house squeaking. Called nea and nea gave us another number to call say they can help remove wildlife. Called that number and after sending them a photo of the bat they told us to put the bat onto a tree so that it can climb and fly away. Kns. As in I know how to handle a bat. My wife and I then scoop it onto a piece of paper and brought it into the lift to bring it down. Suddenly the bat dropped to the floor and climbed into a vent in the lift. My wife and I then took the lift back up and go home. Lol.

Aiyoh similar ....... about a year back saw water pipe burst on road early wee hours ...... whole road wet with pool forming .... ask me to call PUB .... i told the chap nicely .... I'm jogging in the area and I dont have the resources to do all this ..... 2 hours later on my return private contractor was there doing the plumbing works

The police/NEA will ask you to call animal charity ACRES. ACRES will rescue all wild-life from snakes to birds but not bees. ACRES is totally unfunded by the govt and all these ad-hoc rescues redirected by the govt, ACRES is not paid a single cent by them. When NEA confiscates illegal pets and the zoo wont take them, they end up as ACRES problem. Emergency service to rescue and treat and an injured civet cat on the road, my daughter was told to call ACRES after calling Police on what to do. 

SPCA is very selective on what abandoned animals they take in. Dogs, cats, rabbits and possibly hamsters. Everything else is directed to ACRES. 

Do support ACRES financially if you feel for wild animals.

Last week, I called AVS Animal Response Centre to remove cat carcass lying in the middle of the road.
