Just now also encountered one over sized illegal ebilke (or maybe e motorcycle more correct) running through red light.  Really don't know what's their mentality other than 烂命一条.

A 71-year-old woman is recovering after suffering serious facial injuries when she was allegedly hit from behind by a cyclist on a shared pavement in Pasir Ris.

 

The incident happened on Dec. 10 near Pasir Ris Mall, just outside Pasir Ris Polyclinic. According to a Facebook post by her husband, Frank Singam, the cyclist was a platform rider who struck her from behind, causing her to fall face-first onto the concrete pavement.

 

Her chin absorbed the full impact of the fall.

Likely the lizard ran into to spokes of the front wheel... Then the wheel locked up when the lizard got stuck at the fork, causing the cyclist to flip forward like anyone who jammed brake the front wheel....

The bike probably also went over again.

Shame about the lizard, I have a lot of them as friends as I walk rail corridor and Rifle Range. The monkeys also remember the regulars.

Yesterday I was walking from Rail Mall towards Dairy Farm. There are lots of monkeys on the walking path.

About 1 years, I don’t rem seeing any monkeys

no predator and no stress or $$ issues so reproduce like crazy. completely 180 shift from the birth rates in SG. 😁

maybe someone can do a tongue in cheek about the birth rates in SG. it is not all doom and gloom, the macaques birth rates in SG are increasing... 🤣

I did Rail Corridor the other way.

There, they normally hang out on the bridge over Hindhede Dr. since that's a busy little stretch.

It's also an easy pathway from Bkt.Timah Hill over to the landed properties at the back of Courts - they also use the bridge over to BW Shopping Centre. From there they wander all over the estate as far as Signature Park and Hillford. I think they are careful not to go much further as they'll bump into the troop from Bkt.Batok/Gombak.

I rarely see them further south than Jln Anak Bukit.

Yesterday was able to add quite a lot of squirrels, and a frog that also jumped across the path straight into the stream - an excellent judge of distance.
