Anyway maybe they are innocent.

They are going to court claiming their termination is without merits.

Good luck to the them.

The lawyers I mean! As least they will have a good year end bonus!

:D

Then why did they do it?

Is it their KPI is how many deliveries completed

and year end bonus is based on this?

Is it now Dec so year end appraisal coming

and they wanted to get a big big bonus this year?

They didn't want to pay "late delivery penalty" of their client, fiddled the schedules manually..... if my understanding is correct.

If that's true then I am very impressed that the top 3 execs knew exactly which parcels not delivered and go into the system and change status to delivery attempted but failed because no one home.

This is the attention to detail that not many CEOs CFOs C whatever know and how many C suite can go into the system to change status one by one?

Most won't know how to do this!

I am very impressed.

The 3execs didn't handle the whistleblower claim properly, not that they were involved directly in the schedule adjustments, which the managers handled.

No wonder MIL never got the extra large PMD batteries I bought online from the cheapest supplier with the most complains of batteries short ccircuiting packed in the same box with the 5 litres of lighter fluid and 50 boxes of matches.

She was at home that day and status was delivery attempted but failed!

When MIL was at home looking after the 3 jerry cans of petrol I was keeping at her place in case petrol stations run out at year end.

Ah that makes sense now! How many ceos would know jamesc MIL parcel not even sent let alone go into the system to change to delivery attempted.

I am not so impressed with them now!

This has restored my belief that a lot of top execs don't know what they are doing!

Base on what Singpost announced last night, there should be more to come. Either details coming later (they gg to sue anyway), or still investigating. For the board to abruptly terminate the employments of ceo, group ceo and cfo and set a black record to their careers, I don't believe it is simply just because they did not handle the whisteblow well. There would likely be an accumulation of disatisfaction with their peformances thus far. One look at the share price is indicative. The recent impreovement is due to a long-due unlocking of value at board level decisions and not due to ceo cfo capability.

True.... theres surely more unsaid.

The board wouldn't take such a step knowing there's a good chance of litigation.

Or severance compensation ... either way if applicable... not satisfactory 🤔

If this is what it is, then I encounter not just from Singpost, other courier also use this tactics, where they updated my item as delivered , nothing outside. But the item will appears one or two days later, so I didn't pursue further.

Not like they are paying late delivery penalties out of their own pocket.. they trying to meet the client kpi so as to help company save money and retain contract?  This doesn't seem to warrant a police case leh.. unless they took bribes to fudge the delivery data..

Not Mr Umbrage, he is clean. Despite whatever the public and all his previous shareholders feel about his capability, he did not do wrong. His employers knew what his capablity lies and placed him well. Another similar case is Miss Saw. She did her job well, too well in fact, at SMRT. The public should be checking the people who placed her there.

Mr Umbrage was placed into those companies to sell them.

It is a dirty job that no one want to do.

With the conditions set by MCCY, there will not be any taker.

Except Temasek
