I guess Cat A will go up quite high also, since many Cat A not bad EV is selling now.

One used car salesman cum massage therapist says higher COE even better for his businesses. Those ladies and pseudo ladies who get priced out of COE battle will turn to his massage therapy to relieve their depression. 😄

COE price will hold at current level or up by a few k, it will not go down drastically until next Jan when the new rebate kicks in.  Even COE price will to go up by a few K, it is just a small % of the total car price, people who want a  car will likely not be bothered by the few k increase.

When the new rebate kicks in next years, even if COE will to drop a bit, the overall car price will still be the same because of the lower rebate, it will be a zero sum game. 

Lets wait till more COE quota next year and 2027 to see where the COE price will be heading .

Happy buying?  More like very unhappy buying of a new car, if it is me. But it is not me as I am out of the game having renewed COE in Jan.
