Wa... Wondering what cos the buyer to sell. Less than 6 mth. Guess if this goes on all PI need to lower there selling price

It's a sales tactic, the car doesn't exist, the ad is to lure u down to the showroom where then they will claim the said car is sold and thus push a brand new car instead..

KM selling 2016 facelifted version, the higher price is justified by higher parf, servicing package etc. It makes more sense to get from KM now especially for ppl who dun like to deal with PI. Honda sensing is pretty annoying for ppl who know what they are doing on the road.

yes, i agreed currently its better to get from km because of the instability of coe.

honda sensing is a deciding factor or not depend on individual, some totally think its unnecessary while others believed its a must have feature.

Is seem km only have one model - LX, at least i didnt see the lower range DX.

PI got a few to select including the RS.

The deciding factor will be whether one is getting a hydrid.

The price of km model one can get hybrid x

Ppl who juz want a car to move around will not care about safety feature of the car.

Because it will not happen to me.

I found an interesting thread from US of A on Honda Sensing:

http://www.civicx.com/threads/is-the-honda-sensing-worth-the-extra-cost.816/

If safety is a top priority for you, Honda Sensing is a no brainer. There is no other package in the automotive world that gives you all these features for $1000. If you use cruise control especially, its incredible useful.

It certainly doesn't drive like a human but rush hour traffic is a tense experience for me and now I don't have to worry.

Thanks! ACC would not be used in the busy city streets though?

Actually it could be if you wanted because it has the LSF feature (low speed follow) which will essentially apply brakes and gas to keep pace with the car in front of you, even in stop and go traffic. It's not super practical though since it's a little jerky as I mentioned in my post above.

The LSF is not something you turn on, it's built into the ACC.

I like the last quote because ppl will say ACC is useless in Singapore.

Does the Kah Motors model come with the full suite? Or can some of the features be added piecemeal like what most ADs do in Singapore?

Anyone know KM LX premium is equivalent to Vezel which model?

I can't seem to match them using data from sgmart.

KM LX is equivalent to the discontinued Vezel S. Difference is LX using 16 inch rims and 6 airbags compared to Vezel S which comes with 17 inch rims and 8 airbags. The rest of the specs more or less similar

So roughly is,

KM LX is Vezel S but with 16" rim

KM DX is Vezel X same with 16" rim

OK thanks for the answers, looks clearer to me now if to compare the price and equivalent.

So in reality, what's the nett difference in price between the AD and PI?

And can someone share what a hybrid costs now?

I heard it was 96k not long ago ?

For me, when my wife sitting beside me when I drive is like have the Honda Sensing.  [:p]

The KM DX model I think basically have no paddle shift, 2 airbags, local fitted leather seats, no painted skirtings, no vanity mirror light, 5' monitor and some other stuff ... cannot recall.

The worrying thing for me for the hybrid is the cost of battery replacement and the eventual resale. Other then that, I am all for it.

I heard from SE, no need test drive, ppl already booked the hrv.

Made in Japan, I was told.

Tempted to book when I was there over the weekend. The hrv is in the showroom already unlike some weeks or months back.

I didnt see DX on official km website, only new LX. Perhaps not updated yet.

Hydrid advantages outweight worries.

Remember the need for (entire) battery replacement and (whether you will) eventual sell is unknown but the advantages is fact.

Ic thks!

Perhaps only the engine make in japan, so they never lie to you, perhaps assembly or other parts not.

Myself also seriously considering between AD model (and pi hydrid), so when i go down km showroom, will get to bottom of this.

KM hrv Lx looks very much like this one, less the auto fold mirror. But with color mud guard and roof rail.

Thia guys mention 6 airbags but all vezel in sgmart I see specs say 8 airbags.

I think KM hrv and facelift vezel come to the same line now.

Of course hrv have others like 7" head unit, integrated steering, peddle shift.

I am bias toward km hrv now.

The DX specs was on a brochure when I went down to KM to take a look about 2 weeks ago. Yes, it does not seemed to be on their website.

I guess we will have our opinions about the hybrid. Perhaps maybe 10 years down the line, i would consider one when the tech is way more advanced then now. I will agree on the fuel consumption and the eventual need to sell part is unknown. My other worry is the safety as I always have this opinion of sitting on a time bomb in the hybrid as the battery (l-ion or lipo4 .. not sure what they use) is right below the car cabin. These batteries when shorted or damaged can cause huge explosions and fire.

Just want to keep life simple for myself.

All the best for your car hunting. [;)]

Just to share about hybrids... the battery cannot last the 10 years. Almost certainly need replacement. I know of someone who drives a Lexus LS600h. The battery had to be replaced after only 5 years. And it was fortunate that Borneo Motors decided to replace it under their 10 year warranty scheme. You have to check if Kah Motors will do the same for the Vezel. I guessed that this person was able to get it changed cos he was driving the flagship Lexus. Not sure about the cheaper models for all makes.
