Would like to know Re Facelift/Kah Motor

1) which mth/year is the first facelift car (many cars advertise in SG carmart claimed facelift but look the same)

2) what are the differences - both exterior and interior

3) Is it true Hybrid non facelift tail lights are similar to facelift tail lights?

4) is moonroof/sunroof version available

5) auto tailgate/memory seat available?

6) Kah Motor has no honda sensing?

1) The new facelift for vezel started Jan/Feb 2016. Therefore cars after june, technically is the FL version, Before 2015 is not the current FL versions

4) Nope, totally not available in japan for Vezel and not for HRV

 

5) Autotail gate not available for stock, aftermarket module is available.  Memory seat only available for FL Hybrid Z, the highest specs for vezel

I went to check out the civic and HRV when I did my servicing today.

The civic sits really low and you feel like you are almost right on the road. Great for those who are car enthusiasts I suppose but not so great for day to day drivers. More difficult to get out compared to my older civic. The cockpit is also tighter but the lumbar support doesn't suit me.

It's wider than the HRV, longer and the boot will fit two golf bags easily lengthwise.

But the fit and finish loses to the HRV. And interestingly the civic seems to have less rear legroom.

It's a bit tighter in the HRV and the steering wheel loses the nubs that the civic has.

Boot space is smaller too.

The height of the HRV is just right, especially if you have elderly folks.

I look forward to a test drive of both in due course.

The best choice ? My current FD civic actually !

Really tempting to keep my car now :)

As i had placed an order for the said model, upon my check with the PI, i was informed that they had already submitted the request for inspection more than 2 weeks ago with the LTA.  However, they had not been called up for the inspection yet. 

 

Therefore, i was wondering how long would the inspection takes.

I didnt see DX on official km website, only new LX. Perhaps not updated yet.

 

Hydrid advantages outweight worries.

Remember the need for (entire) battery replacement and (whether you will) eventual sell is unknown but the advantages is fact.

Perhaps only the engine make in japan, so they never lie to you, perhaps assembly or other parts not.

 

Myself also seriously considering between AD model (and pi hydrid), so when i go down km showroom, will get to bottom of this.

I would get the hybrid. Purely for that driving pleasure. Cvt is a pain to drive for vezel. Not too sure if dct is longer lasting though, but my concern will not be the battery in fact.

Test the 30% 70% if the rules did not change. You can get a less dark solar film for the rear windows.

Call lta and try to find out what is the usual timeline now. Last i heard PI claimed can take up to one month. I chose not to believe it. Not too sure about now.

All facelift has the options to choose with or without sensing. Very much depends on the dealer who brought in the car.

 

Electric seat, think not advisable for aftermarket mode. OR it is still new the module maynot be out yet but that is not very crucial i feel to have.
