My Passport left few pages ,expire in 2yrs time. Frequent entrance to JB for petrol/groceries/food. Last Friday went down to make but saw the notice pasted on the entrance of MAC office door at Orchard Parade Hotel..haiz..what should I do..either make a new passport with valid reason or waiting game till it is lifted. Gods Know when???

Is it true that MACS is only applicable for travel in JB only. I was informed by the Malaysia custom officer that should I travel to KL, I still need my passport to be stamped. As the travel visas remains the same, what happen if I was in JB for the first few days and suddenly I need to travel up to KL to attend urgent matters, does that means I need to make a trip down to the JB to get the stamp or I need to do a re-entry to JB again ? Very confusing.......

Any bros know where and how to renew the MACS? Do we still go back to the same office at Malaysia Immigration Building? or can it be done at those MACS office that I saw? like the one at the shophouse after the Shell petrol station. Any kind bro can share, need to renew these few days. Urgent. Thanks.

for those who wants to apply for macs, there is a counter just oustside jusco supermarket. May do it on the spot and collect..... , saves you lots of trouble running around.

Dear all Please be reminded that tomorrow, 15 Nov 2011 is the last day to get MACS done at most of the Jusco or some major shopping centres like Holiday Plaza, City Square, etc. Just need to bring along with you RM30 and passport and go in person to apply, only take you 10 mins to get it done. HURRY! Still not sure whether in future where they will set up the counters!

I have been using MACS for the past few months, thinking it will be more convenient since I do not need to write the white card anymore when going JB. What i realise is that the malaysian customs officer will just take a look at the MACS and then I am on my way. Dun they need to scan it or something? Just look at it? Or are they doing something I dun know?

Heard it was behind the shell then one day customs officer told me it is at customs itself. How muh do i need to pay and what do i need to bring and how long is the process? I know on website i can find out a lot but want to ask from those who have applied for it. First hand knowledge always better.

Malaysian side have implemented the new white card. It is the same size as previous white card. The difference is that instead of 4 column on the white card, now you have 3 column to fill in. As there is only 3 column, the size of font is bigger. The old white card today when I go in to do the Macs for my wife, the immigration officer said cannot be used already. But for some it can still be used. Because of that cars going in to Msian side quite heavy jam... here is the sample of white card below

Is there something wrong with my lappie or is the wi-fi at these 2 Macs not working??? I hate to buy a large Coke and then realize that I can get some work done while on the go! Anyone encounter this too?? Starbucks is always reliable for me.
