Was driving somewhere in Jurong and all of a sudden inside the car sells of chemical. the smell lingers inside for quite sometime. I believe my car is not air tight and air with funny smell leaks in. Anyway to improve the seal? or it only happens to older cars? if i make love inside car will i die of poisoning?

we have been trying to employ 2 positions - one full time accountant and one contract to perm Admin for coming 3 months but stil not much success. Anyw the accountant position is undertaken by a headhunter so I would ask ard here for the Admin role. Main duties - perform the role of Admin Administrator of 3 semi-active companies (SG & HK) ie. keep company records, contracts, files etc. OMO, reporting to 1 person but guarantee no OT. Mon - Fri 9 - 6pm. Upon confirmation to perm, the scope will be expanded to cover China. Its a relatively simple job so either Dip or Grad - 0-4 years experience wil do. workplace : Orchard Shaw House PM me if you know any friend, cousins etc who are jobless and fit the profile. decent pay - 3-ish per month. thanks.

Like cabbies, I too do not receive a 13th month wage supplement, so every cent counts. where have got the tightest lots you have encountered ? for me, when i was not driving, i sit in my friend's car, i think it was the old Pavillion(now rebuilt as Tampines One) underground carpark at Tampines intechange. but now when i am driving, i see the mcsp at tampines st.32 "tampines mart" as one of those with tight corners ... especially when you drive down from the third level to the second level, you can see alot of autographs on the wall at the ramp !! however, i find that most HDB mscp are pretty generous in their lots allocation ... except for the one at Bedok Reservoir Sheng Shiong Station1 ... the designer ought to be shot !!

A recent poll also revealed that nearly one third of European drivers (32 per cent) said they needed more than one attempt at parallel parking, with the figure rising to 41 per cent for women. The poll, commissioned by Ford, also said that new drivers across Europe rated parallel parking as stressful as Christmas shopping and twice as stressful as a visit from the in-laws. Here's a possible soluition though. Do it like the driver shown in the video, who literally uses the bumper to, well, bump the other cars. The video also helpfully demystifies how some cars can end up bumper to bumper in parallel lots. This writer understands that this is how parallel parking is done in Europe, especially France where bumpers are literally used as such: for bumping.

Saw this car at my carpark. The rear doors are really really small and tight. Passengers probably have to bent forward fully to get in.

I saw an accident last evening along the side slip road of Toa Payoh Lor 6 leading up the ramp towards CTE/SLE and opps the Chinese Medical Hall. As usual, evening peak hour traffic, jams a plenty, motorists trying to save $1 of ERP go via Toa Payoh. Queue cutting here and there aplenty. I dun have a pic to show you as it's was quite dim for me to snap any pics and I was moving out of the queue to join the main road. two cars, which is A and B, squeezed together, no it was no mangled mess, the A car the slip road was squeezed by B car which tried to cut in from the main road to join in the slip queue near the embankment. as a result, the Car A on the slip queue did not or was unable to give up and let Car B cut in, so they were both sandwitched together. Now the Car A driver on the slip road can't get out from his car, while the other car stuck on his right at the right embankment. Now, for insurance, how to claim for damages? 50/50 liabilty?

hi, need advice and suggestions. recently just changed to a new radiator cap becos the old one's "rubber sealing" (not sure i use the right term) was gone. however apparently now the new one's rubber sealing is so gd tat it became stuck!! as in i cant open my radiator cap. sigh.. so how? now i cant check wat is the coolant water level and top up as needed. thanks alot.

dear all, was thinking upgrading my car audio system. can someone advice any decent amplifier and speaker for the following budget 1. $300 for 2 channel amplifier 2. $200 for component speaker 6.5inches 3. cheap cheap speaker for rear fill drive by HU (alphine 45Watts) was thinking getting those amplifier from SLT, however, is abit draw back as i am worry whether those export set is reliable and geniune? one of the shop recommend me rockford speaker for $240 and 4 channel rodek amp at around $190. can make my choice as they done allow to demo, can someone share the experience of export set audio stuff? Thanks a million
