A motorcyclist was riding straight as he approached the exit gantry of the open-air carpark at Hougang Mall. Just then, a white Mitsubishi Attrage began moving off from his parking lot. Despite the Mitsubishi Attrage entering the rider's path and field of vision, the rider did not seem to perform any braking manoeuvre and continued riding straight. The rider only came to a complete halt upon a frontal collision into the side of the Mitsubishi Attrage. After that, both motorists alighted from their vehicles and started blaming each other for causing this unnecessary accident. The Motorcyclist's Perspective From the rider's perspective, the Mitsubishi Attrage should have given way to him as he had the right of way since he was travelling straight. Furthermore, the Mitsubishi driver failed to check clear for traffic when exiting the parking lot. In other words, he should not have exited the parking lot as there was oncoming traffic approaching him (AKA the motorcyclist). The Mitsubishi Driver's Perspective From the Mitsubishi driver's perspective, the motorcyclist was still quite a distance away from him. Hence, he decided to move off from his parking lot. The motorcyclist should have given way to him as half of the Mitsubishi Attrage's body was already on the main road. IMO, I think this is a 50/50 matter - Both parties should bear the brunt for their actions. And may I add, how this accident could have been avoided easily? What do you guys think? TL;DR – A Mazda 3 driver and a Mitsubishi Attrage driver yells at one another at a HDB estate for reasons unknown. Let’s dive right into the 49-second video. This incident looks like it occurred at a HDB estate (location undetermined), possibly near the entrance of a MSCP. Kimak! The video begins with the grey Mazda 3 driver stepping out of his car, clearly unhappy with the driver in the red Mitsubishi Attrage. . Mazda driver loses all chill and starts cursing at the Mitsubishi driver’s mother (in Malay) and other assorted dialects referencing the female anatomy. The Mitsubishi driver does play a part in this heated exchange as well. He did not project his voice as well as the Mazda driver though, so his voice is muted. What could have sparked this? Looking at the screenshot closely, I think the grey Mazda driver got mad because he was trying to make a left, but he felt obstructed by the Mitsubishi, who was turning right but positioned his car at a weird angle. Red car not in the wrong Technically, one could argue that the Mitsubishi was still within its lane, AND in his defence, he also stopped at the stop line. Online Chatter I also say. Hello all, My current ride is a Mitsubishi attrage which is bought in Aug 2015 when cat A COE is $57,500 It is paid in full. So far, the car works well for A to B travel. Will it be a good time now to scrap the car to take advantage of the current lower COE? Currently looking at the Nissan Note or looking at another attrage again. Any suggestions? Thank you, Sthh

Do you think that those car models that are acquired by PHVs actually helped to boost the sales of these models for private car buyers? i.e. - Honda Vezel / HRV - Mitsubishi Attrage - Toyota Prius - Toyota Prius C - Mazda 3 - KIA K3 - Toyota Vios Does their attributes like riding comfort, fuel consumption, availability of parts, etc, actually helped to boost the sales for the above mentioned models when they are recommended by PHV drivers and riders? Or does it actually turn off buyers, like too common on the roads, long waiting time at servicing centers, etc? Say if PHV doesn't exist here, do the above models even sell for private car market?
