  1. This is a whole other level of blur. What happened? A Honda Vezel was caught driving against the flow of traffic on Balestier road, and did it in full view of a police vehicle on the road. It is unclear how the Honda got there as they seem to have gone quite deep in the wrong road, with the correct one only a stone’s throw away from him. This meme should be an accurate example of their reactions. Netizens, of course, found this hilarious. Others also questioned the driver’s skills (or lack thereof). ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 2. Anyone from the old primary school up above the hill? The school name is Balestier hill primary school and I'm talking about the 1970s. Not the current one but the old building. There was a puzzle in my mind till today. During that time, we spotted a coffin up above the stage (at the tuckshop) but it was never clear to us whether it is indeed a ''coffin'' above? Anyone from that school in the 1970s period? Do you remember seeing that?

  6. Just spreading the word even though I have no relation with the victim. If you have witnessed or know someone who had witnessed this accident which happened on 12 Jan 2011, kindly contact the Stomper. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...r_accident.html STOMPer Serena's cousin, 29-year-old Janson Tay, has been in a coma since Jan 12. The STOMPer is appealing for witnesses to assist the police in their investigations. The accident occurred at the junction of Balestier and Pegu Road on Jan 12 at 3.50am. The STOMPer wrote: "We appeal to anyone who saw the accident along Balestier Rd on Jan 12 at 3.50am, to please step forward and help the police with their investigations. "My cousin, Janson Tay, was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road that night. "Hit head-on, the severe impact caused massive head trauma. "He has not woken up in the one-and-a-half months since and remains in hospital, in a coma. "Lawyers we consulted have cited past cases where charges have been dismissed because no eyewitnesses could be found. "If only the driver's account of the accident is available, the police might not have enough to prosecute. "Janson cannot speak for himself now, to give his side of the story. "If you have any information, please contact me at [email protected]. "We are grateful for any help anyone can give. Thank you."

  11. Bros & Sis, I was travelling on lane 1 near the above location keeping a safe distance behind the car infront. All of a sudden, a silver or white Honda Odyssey overtook me on lane two and abruptly swerved into my lane (lane one) when he was barely half a car length in front. I jammed brake and took evasive action but this fella hit my left front tyre body area. I horned him but he sped off swerving in and out of traffic. If any forumers witnessed the incident, pls help me. My car is a silver Focus. Any advice what to do? Thanks, bros & sis.
  12. Just to share this new car wash place at Balestier Rd. This one washes cars at the basement car park of the Palace of Lights building. They claim that their car wash is "Sealant wash", not normal car wash. 1st in Singapore. Nobody has this. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Good deal. Each wash is $5. Go for 4 times, you will get 5th one free. They also do Klasse polishing. $48, lasting 18 months. Today, i just went to try out their $5 wash. (My office is at Balestier Rd) Not too bad. Still issue a receipt for $5 wash! Shows they quite serious abt their work. This place is after the Loy Kee Chicken Rice stall. Need to turn left once that Loy Kee Chicken Rice's row of shophouses ends. Should see a big banner displaying the car wash service at the corner of junction. Business name is called "Hot Wheels" Once turn left, turn left straight away into the Palace of Lights bldg car park. This is next to a big church. Overall experience is satisfied. The place is sheltered from sunlight. (Basement Car park). So no need to stand under hot sun.
  13. Has anyone tried this branch? Do they have N2 here?
