He had then honked and called out in frustration to avoid a narrow collision before the pedestrians had skittered back to safety. The motorcyclist had seemed extremely angry over the situation, which might make others contend that he may be a bit (大惊小怪), also known as to make a big fuss over nothing, given the fact that jaywalking is extremely commonplace in Geylang. To not have anticipated this kind of behavior could be on him, to be fair. Now, watch this video of what a well-dressed man in a suit and tie did to this cam car driver: 'WAH CH$$B*E! CHUA SAI AH!' The cam car driver was driving along Orchard Road when a man in a suit and tie blatantly disregarded the red man and jaywalked across the road. The cam car driver sounded a very long honk at him to alert him of his dangerous act. In response, the well-dressed man performed some hand gestures toward the driver from afar before walking up to his car and flashing the driver his middle finger. Despite the upfront confrontation of the jaywalker, the driver remained calm and did not retaliate back. Instead, all he did was exclaim, 'WAH CH$$B*E! Jaywalking is never a good idea. And what's worse is when one attempts to jaywalk at a busy industrial area in the presence of heavy vehicles. Watch it here: What Happened? The accident occurred at Sungei Kadut Avenue, where a man attempted to jaywalk a busy industrial road. He stopped in the middle of the road as heavy vehicles drove past him. Just then, the cam car, together with a motorcycle that was riding ahead of him, approached the bend right before the jaywalker. Due to heavy vehicles around and the bend, the jaywalker was in a very obscure position. Despite applying his brakes, the motorcycle failed to stop in time. And as a result, he rammed right into the jaywalker, which sent him flying in mid-air. The jaywalker fell hard onto the ground and lay there motionless throughout the video. Passersby quickly rushed to the scene to check on both parties. Netizens' Comments Indeed. Only drivers/riders know this. Such knowledge and awareness would not necessarily occur to pedestrians. "Red light stop, green light go" is a basic and universal traffic rule. Heck. Even if you live under a rock, the viral Netflix show 'Squid Game' would have taught you otherwise. Sadly, two 'ah-bengs' and one of their 'zha-bor' simply couldn't understand this simple traffic rule and got into multiple confrontations with a lorry driver. Watch it here: What Happened? Two 'ah-bengs' and a woman blatantly jaywalked in front of oncoming traffic at Victoria Road. The lorry they obstructed honked them for their blatant disregard for road safety. And boy, oh boy, did that honk shatter both their fragile ego. Compensating For Their Shattered Ego Both 'ah-bengs' immediately gestured at the lorry driver with their hands to signal to the lorry driver, "What's your problem?!" 'Ah-beng' #1 in the long pants, then threw a lit cigarette at the lorry, but it rebounded and hit him in the face. Meanwhile, ah-beng' #2 in shorts made an intimidating action of wanting to 'rush' towards the lorry, only to be held back by his 'zha-bor'. As the lorry drove down the road slowly, 'ah-beng' #1 continued walking alongside the lorry while shouting at the driver. Just then, he suddenly jumps and attempts to spit inside the lorry, only to lose his balance and fall ass-first onto the road. NGL, it is hilarious that he acts all tough but can't do something as simple as jumping without falling over. The lorry driver then proceeded to stop at the curbside and settle with those uncouth beings. Unfortunately, what happened afterwards remain unknown, as the video ends after the lorry driver opens his door. A Lesson To Learn A takeaway from this incident would be to get yourself a woman who stops you from doing stupid shit. Unless, of course, your woman is a 'Karen' like the one in this viral incident: In that case, GLHF! You might end up getting arrested for doing stupid shit like the Bentley driver. Since young, our parents will constantly remind us time and time again to always check for traffic before attempting to cross the road. The cam car and a Toyota Harrier formed up on the left lane of a two carriageway road. A man clad in a perspiration-soaked Army singlet walks along the pavement from a distance. As he approaches the cam car and Toyota Harrier, the traffic light turns green in both cars' favour. Instead of stopping by the grass patch and checking for oncoming traffic, the man simply hops onto the road and attempts to illegally dash across the road. At this moment, a Toyota Prius drives past the cam car and almost collides with the pedestrian. As a result, the pedestrian performs an "e-brake" to stop himself and does an odd dance-like action. Luckily, the oncoming Toyota Prius also performed an e-brake and avoided colliding with the pedestrian. After this encounter, the pedestrian takes his own sweet time and nonchalantly "jogs" across the road while navigating around several vehicles. Too Shag To Think Logically? Is saving those few minutes spent waiting for the green man so important that it is more important than one's life? Jaywalking is a common sight in Singapore that is done WHEN TRAFFIC IS CLEAR ( I am sure we are guilty of doing it before). But then, there's this guy. Of all the times to jaywalk, this fella decides to jaywalk when an oncoming car approaches the traffic light. And the worst part is that he doesn't even bother to look left and right for traffic before crossing. An entitled jaywalker was caught "using the Force" to make cars stop for him as he crossed a traffic junction while the traffic lights were red. The short video showed a camcar driver attempting to turn right at Wellington Circle when the light was green, only to suddenly stop short when the driver noticed a man jaywalking across the road. As if stopping the car was not enough for him, the man had his arm stretched out to signal for other vehicles to stop for him as well. Very similar to using the Force (Star Wars reference). According to the driver, he felt that it was not wise of the jaywalker to risk his life as not all drivers might be paying attention while making a turn. Jaywalking is a chargeable offence. First-time offenders will be issued a fine of $50 while repeat offenders will be issued a fine of up to $1,000- and 3-months jail! Im wondering how to make our Gov wake up their mind. Its not the 1st time I came across such news, in fact, such case happened to 1 of my close buddy at AMK. It obvious case that its the pedestrian fault and why driver tio charge until so jialat? Is Gov trying to encourage the pedestrian to be more careless as they are protected by law no matter what? I undestand that the jaywalker already deceased and I shouldnt rubbing salt on others wound but I really pity the driver... he is the actual innocent fellow here. I hope government could be more fair when handling such cases. Willie Chan York Jen pleaded guilty to causing the death of 75-year-old Mr Mohamed Ibrahim Yusoff while driving along Lorong 2 Toa Payoh at the cross junction of Lorong 6 Toa Payoh on Dec 21 last year. At about 5.45pm that day, Chan was driving along Lorong 2 Toa Payoh and heading towards the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on his way home after playing badminton with friends. He stopped at a red light while travelling on the four-lane road at Lorong 2 Toa Payoh. When the traffic light turned green in his favour, he proceeded to drive straight across the cross junction. He did not see Mr Ibrahim, who began crossing the road when the red-man traffic signal was displayed. Chan failed to keep a proper lookout and Mr Ibrahim was hit by the front right corner of his car. Mr Ibrahim sustained head injuries, and was bleeding from the mouth and became short of breath. He fell unconscious and was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he died later that night. Chan could have been jailed up to two years and/or fined for causing death through a negligent act.

You know, paying careful attention for oncoming vehicles while crossing the street is actually a pretty obvious thing to do. However, it seems that there will always be some people who are just ignorant enough that they tend to jaywalk. The woman in the accompanying video is a good yet unfortunate example. You see, when you jaywalk, not only are you putting your life in danger but also that of other people's. If a vehicle happens to be approaching while you are jaywalking, the driver of the vehicle will be forced to slam the brakes all of a sudden. As a result, other vehicles behind the vehicle approaching you may happen to hit it if the drivers fail to stop their cars at the right time. With that being said, do you actually realise how dangerous you are becoming by simply crossing the street without paying attention? Well, I won't lie to you, though. Most of us probably do jaywalk every once in a while. However, after watching the video, I shall always keep in mind to refrain from doing so as I value my life. I don't know what the woman was thinking when she started walking towards the middle of the street. Nonetheless, while she was crossing it halfway, she seemed to finally realise that she shouldn't have actually started crossing in the first place as it was nearly certain she would get trapped on the centre double line. Unfortunately, she decided to take the worst option, to turn back! Let me remind you, when you cross the street, especially if you're already halfway, you'll probably be better off going forward or halt when necessary rather than turning back. Turning back is very dangerous! Moreover, the woman in the video didn't watch out for any oncoming traffic prior to turning back. Well, I'll have to be honest with you. It didn't really come as a surprise seeing the woman get hit by the scooter. The scooter rider, however, didn't seem like he was paying attention, either. Had he paid more attention on the road ahead, he should, at least, have been able to decelerate. Furthermore, jaywalkers often have erratic behaviour that they may turn back or even jump when motorists least expect it.

The jaywalking situation at North Bridge Road, crossing over to Capitol Centre and Peninsula Plaza can be sighted everydays. I am surprise there is no enforcement. Today, a young girl suddenly stormed out from my RIGHT to LEFT, running to catch the public bus. Luckily I jammed fast, otherwise she is a dead meat. I horned but she contine to run. It is so stressfull to drive along that road........... accident is just waiting to happen....

this morning i drove pass a main road.. from far i saw one aunty wanting to jaywalk halfway .. and of cause she saw my car too.. so i slow down slightly thinking that she might walk little faster.. mostly if i see people jaywalking they will walk faster when they see incoming cars. to my surprise this aunty walk so slow that i was thinking she thought she own the road.. so i tap my horn.. but still she walk slowly like shopping in orchard road.. jaywalk never mind but at least walk faster ma when there is cars.. please remind folks at home to jay walk with understanding to us drivers...
