  1. Why sports/performance cars are called sports/performance cars is pretty self-explanatory — they are either fast on a straight line or possess superb handling abilities. And these cars are pretty impressive...until a d0uchebag driver gets behind the wheel of one of these cars. Watch it here: What Happened? The driver of a Mercedes-Benz CLS63 thought it was a good idea to cut into the path of a heavy vehicle while joining into the main road. And he did so by literally "crawling" into the truck's path. As the German coupe was in the truck's blindspot, the truck almost t-boned the coupe if not for the kind cam car driver who intervened by alerting the truck driver with a honk. Immediately after hearing the honk, the truck driver slammed onto his brakes, came to an abrupt halt, and avoided colliding with the CLS63 by inches. The Middle Finger It was apparent that the Mercedes knew what he did was wrong and decided to test his luck by entering the main road despite oncoming traffic. After the cam car sounded his honk, the Mercedes coupe stopped in the middle of the road and pointed a big fat middle finger out his driver's side window. NGL, that's a unique way of "thanking" someone🥴 Netizens' Comments LOL FACTS. Yes, not all honks are aggressive/bad. Sometimes it's just a friendly honk or a honk to warn you/others of the surrounding. Yessir, the cam car driver definitely dropped this 👑 ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 2. I will be frank with you - There are numerous goondu drivers here in Singapore. Drivers that don't stop at the stop line, those that signal right only to filter left, and those who constantly brake despite a clear traffic flow in their path. These are some of the many goondu drivers I have come across before. However, I have yet to encounter a goondu driver like this cam car: IMG_7428.MOV.mp4 What Happened? After entering the expressway, the cam car driver gradually comes to a complete halt in the middle of a filter lane due to his inability to change lanes. As a result, the vehicles behind him, a motorcycle and a Mercedes C180, had to follow suit and slow down. However, the Mercedes C180 driver was not pleased with the cam car driver due to his poor driving ability. Not to anyone's surprise, the Mercedes driver began flashing his high beams and honking the cam car driver. The Mercedes driver then swiftly changes lanes and accelerates past the goondu cam car driver. Filter lane Essentially, the purpose of a filter lane of an expressway is to allow motorists to accelerate and merge into the expressway safely. By stopping in the middle of the filter lane, the cam car driver poses a major road hazard to fellow motorists, which could potentially cause an accident. Netizens Comments Netizens went all out against the cam car driver. Some of these comments were so blunt, it kinda hurt deep down. HAHAHA this comment is funny. I can imagine the cam car driver requesting for permission to take off😂 ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 3. Let’s be frank. Cyclists have made a notorious reputation for themselves over the years. They are known to be among the top cause of annoyance to motorists, which easily frustrates motorists when they encounter an errant cyclist on the road. Watch this video to find out what happens when an impatient driver meets a ‘guai-lan’ cyclist: What Happened? While travelling on a two-carriageway road, an SBS bus on the left lane switched on his right signal indicator after realising that a heavy vehicle was obstructing the lane. Just then, an errant Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) user who was lane-splitting in the middle of both lanes observed the SBS bus’ intention and proceeded to make an abrupt lane change without checking his side mirrors and his blind spot. The cyclist’s abrupt lane change alarmed the cam car driver, who was travelling in the right lane then. As a result, the cam car driver sounded his honk at the cyclist to alert him of his reckless manoeuvre. In response, the PAB cyclist threw an angry hand gesture to demonstrate his displeasure towards the cam car driver for honking at him. Following that, the cyclist began performing brake checks on the cam car driver and began riding at a slow pace. (Yes, I didn’t know brake checks were a thing for cyclists too) Not to anyone’s surprise, the cam car driver got impatient and frustrated at the PAB cyclist and began sounding long, consistent honks at the cyclist. Now, you would think that the cyclist has used up all the tricks up his sleeve after the angry hand gesture, the brake checks and riding at an extremely slow pace. Well, you are absolutely wrong! What he does next will make you marvel at how ‘guai-lan’ he can be — the PAB cyclist proceeded to disembark from his bike! Upon disembarkation, he kicks his bike stand and leaves his bike in the middle of the road with his arms folded before taunting the cam car driver to get past his man-made obstruction. Shortly after performing his ‘winning’ move and posing for the camera, he throws another angry hand gesture at the cam car driver before zipping away on his PAB. Latest Update Additional clips of him behaving like a road menace and committing multiple offences have surfaced on the internet. Watch it here: Netizens’ Comments Wise words from a concerned netizen. Seems like this PAB cyclist have developed quite a reputation in the Sengkang/Punggol area🤔 This fella here wants to fight fire with fire😱 ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 4. Manners maketh man is a phrase popularised by the movie 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'. The phrase refers to 'A person may be judged according to his behaviour towards other people'. Now, watch this video of what a well-dressed man in a suit and tie did to this cam car driver: 'WAH CH$$B*E! CHUA SAI AH!' The cam car driver was driving along Orchard Road when a man in a suit and tie blatantly disregarded the red man and jaywalked across the road. The cam car driver sounded a very long honk at him to alert him of his dangerous act. In response, the well-dressed man performed some hand gestures toward the driver from afar before walking up to his car and flashing the driver his middle finger. Despite the upfront confrontation of the jaywalker, the driver remained calm and did not retaliate back. Instead, all he did was exclaim, 'WAH CH$$B*E! CHUA SAI AH!' in his car (Something we are all too familiar with doing). Netizens' Comments 🤷‍♂️ Sad reality, everything is the driver's fault. Just Singapore things: People thinking you are a restaurant/hotel manager when you wear a suit and tie😂 ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news, and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 5. "Red light stop, green light go" is a basic and universal traffic rule. Heck. Even if you live under a rock, the viral Netflix show 'Squid Game' would have taught you otherwise. Sadly, two 'ah-bengs' and one of their 'zha-bor' simply couldn't understand this simple traffic rule and got into multiple confrontations with a lorry driver. Watch it here: What Happened? Two 'ah-bengs' and a woman blatantly jaywalked in front of oncoming traffic at Victoria Road. The lorry they obstructed honked them for their blatant disregard for road safety. And boy, oh boy, did that honk shatter both their fragile ego. Compensating For Their Shattered Ego Both 'ah-bengs' immediately gestured at the lorry driver with their hands to signal to the lorry driver, "What's your problem?!" 'Ah-beng' #1 in the long pants, then threw a lit cigarette at the lorry, but it rebounded and hit him in the face. Meanwhile, ah-beng' #2 in shorts made an intimidating action of wanting to 'rush' towards the lorry, only to be held back by his 'zha-bor'. As the lorry drove down the road slowly, 'ah-beng' #1 continued walking alongside the lorry while shouting at the driver. Just then, he suddenly jumps and attempts to spit inside the lorry, only to lose his balance and fall ass-first onto the road. NGL, it is hilarious that he acts all tough but can't do something as simple as jumping without falling over. The lorry driver then proceeded to stop at the curbside and settle with those uncouth beings. Unfortunately, what happened afterwards remain unknown, as the video ends after the lorry driver opens his door. A Lesson To Learn A takeaway from this incident would be to get yourself a woman who stops you from doing stupid shit. Unless, of course, your woman is a 'Karen' like the one in this viral incident: In that case, GLHF! You might end up getting arrested for doing stupid shit like the Bentley driver. Netizens' Comments 🤷‍♂️ In a nutshell. You never hear meh? Bentley driver kena arrested liao. ======== Receive a $10 PayNow for every submission we publish on Facebook! 6. Do me a favour, please watch the video first before reading past this first sentence, this way, you will understand the context of what is going on. Turn your sound on too. 41860487_462079431454648_3710982132141643689_n.mp4 Done? Great. So, the actions of the driver in the camera car. Necessary, or just plain idiotic and rude? Yes, the uncle at the traffic light did seem a little blur and started crossing the road, rather slowly too, after the red man came on. Yes, this traffic light along Victoria Street is notorious for heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic, as seen in the video where people are not done crossing the road even as the red man comes on. Perhaps let's cut the uncle some slack? Maybe he wasn't paying attention or just having an off day. Or on the other hand, he is really lacking spatial awareness and nearly got himself killed. Understandably, the driver in the camera car could've not honked so long and scared the uncle half out of his slippers. A double tap of his horn would've been suffice, plus the other cars around the camera car don't seemed to have moved off either. And also being so eager to leave the lights. Where are you rushing off to, bro? But then again, this writer daresays that both parties are in the wrong in this incident. The uncle for not being observant of the traffic light and taking his own sweet time to cross, and the driver for being extremely heavy handed with his horn. Although the driver should be more conscious on his acceleration. Yes, this writer knows that most of us can't tolerate stupid people, but do remember that if you as a driver hits a pedestrian, it's not going to just be demerit points, man. Like most things in life, a little patience doesn't kill, people. You would think people would've remembered that by now but no.......
  7. I can't remember how many countless times I've encountered this. Why are drivers here so "scared" when the car in front of them is reversing? Example to parallel park in front of you? Female drivers are a exceptional lot. But they are forgiven do to their "scared" and unconfident nature awhen it comes to driving. But though less than females I've encountered male drivers too. I know many of MCFs will be guilty of this. I would understand if the the car was reversing fast as the driver in front may not be aware of a car behind. But even reversing slowly like a snail and a few car lengths away, these people will honk. Get 1 car length and they will start to blast their honks. Are people here that incapable of judging the distance of the front car's back bumper against their own front? If you parallel park your car, you will should know how to judge! If you have to seriously ask them, if they are not in their car and someone's car has to park and reverse, who will be helping them to do their ridiculous honking when they are away? How many countless cars parked and reversed into yours when you were away from your car? And when you came back to your car, not a scratch? Have faith and confidence in your fellow drivers please and stop being annoying and acting like scared little girls.
  8. During driving school, we were taught to use the horn to notify or warn others on the road of something, especially if it could advert an accident. Recently, i noticed, when you honked at some one, for any reason, be it they are blocking the road, filtering dangerously into a lane or driving in such a way it may cause an accident, they get upset. it could be a driver, cyclist or a pedestrain, the reaction is the same. what the hell is happening? If you are doing something wrong, be it delibrately or un-intentionally, a honk is usually the way to inform you. why is there a need to be irritated or agitated?
  9. As above, any knowledge? Is it the coil or something else. Can it remedy by DIY?
  10. There are some rules that we might not know while going through the custom. Besides taking photo and video, what are the actions that are prohibited? Is honking allowed? Bro & Sis pls advise.
