I was driving...and a chery suv suddenly just signal and squeeze in... I horned...while I was horning, I heard a thom krom sound...thought langgar liao...saw some damage on his rear bumper... The chery ran away, I chased. He stopped. I checked my car. Actually no accident. Probably just my car went over a bump on the road. http://youtu.be/UeD8c9_0XVg

customer who was taking a Renault Megane RS for a test drive lost control of the car and crashed into a stationary private bus outside Punggol Waterway Park at about 1pm today (Aug 15). STOMPer Plumback, who took photos of the accident, said: "I witnessed an accident when a young chap was test driving a showroom Renault Megane RS. 280bhp turbo-charged. "The driver took the corner too fast and side-swept a private bus. "Thankfully no one was hurt."

Think again!!! A TEACHER with the Singapore American School (SAS), who was just half a year from retirement, died in an accident along Woodlands Avenue 2 while on the way to work early yesterday. The car driven by Mr Edd Brown, 65, hit the rear of a bus, which was understood to have been on the move. He died at the scene from head and leg injuries. A police spokesman confirmed that the police received a call at 6.30am about the crash. The driver of the bus has been arrested and is assisting with police investigations. Mr Brown, a father of two grown-up sons and already a grandfather, was an information technology (IT) teacher in the primary section of the SAS. He taught children in grades 1 and 2 and also kindergarten children, besides working with teachers on incorporating IT into their teaching. One of the school's longest-serving teachers, he joined SAS in 1995. That was the year he and his wife Pat came here from Saudi Arabia, where they had been working.

Stanley Yip Chung Hwee, 27, a regular in the Singapore Navy, pleaded guilty to causing the death of Mr Balasubramaniam Gobinathan by a negligent act at a non-signalised T-junction of Yishun Ring Road on March 9, 2006. Mr Balasubramaniam, 28, a staff sergeant of Tuas Naval Base, died nine days later on March 18 of multi-organ failure and septicaemia due to multiple injuries. A district court heard that Yip was driving a Honda along the carpark driveway of Block 786/787 when he made a right turn into Yishun Ring Road without giving way to traffic with the right of way. This resulted in a head to side collision with Mr Balasubramaniam's scooter. Both Yip and his sister were not injured while the scooterist was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
