  1. https://www.asiaone.com/lifestyle/singapore-now-has-1-40-bac-mono-rs-world The Mono R is priced at $300,000 without COE, but as of now, there is still no news if the BAC Mono R will be certified road-legal for Singapore. Its manual, six-speed sequential gearbox, powers a 2.5-litre Mountune engine that produces a maximum power of 342 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, and 0 to 100km/h takes 2.5 seconds. The Mono R measures at 4,007mm long, 1,836mm wide and 1,085mm high. It is also the first production car in the world to incorporate graphene in its panels, contributing to a kerb weight of just 555kg. Look at the kerb weight. So light. But dunno can legally drive on sg roads. Confirm have to wear helmet.
  2. The BAC Mono is probably one of the most fun-to-drive track car of recent. It is likely to be one of the fastest too. Fans of Top Gear would especially find it familiar - the car was presented recently and stole the limelight when it propelled itself to the second top spot on the lap times chart. So what is the BAC Mono all about? Built by the Cheshire-born brothers - Neill and Ian Briggs - the BAC Mono was conceived with car enthusiasts in mind. Mono (short for monoposto or single seat) was designed to provide formula race car levels of handling and performance - hence an equivalent level of thrill. At 520bhp/tonne, the Mono has a power to weight ratio that supercedes that of the Bugatti Veyron. The result is a 0-96km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds and onto 160km/h in just 6.7 seconds. As with any track racers, sheer straight-line speed is not everything. But worry not, the Mono has the Briggs brothers' expertise to take care of things. All in all, 15 years of experience in the industry. To ensure that the Mono is a bang-on hit, the brothers sought the expertise of others. For instance, the aerodynamics were optimised with help from Stuttgart University. The car is constructed out of carbon fibre, with a turbular steel safety cell for the driver - a concept similar to that of a DTM race car. Then, there is the 2.3-litre unit from Cosworth, mounted longitudinally for better weight distribution. Suspension is rose-jointed, aero profiled push rod, with adjustable dampler from Sachs Racing. Brakes are courtesy of AP Racing. The list goes on. To us, the functional design of the Mono is simply stunning to look at. While we can't say an absolute no, there is a very slim chance that we'll ever get to try it. So to top it all off, a little competition is always interesting and exciting. Jump to the video below to see two drivers pit their skills in the Mono. P.S.: not just any driver - Ron Simons is a driving instructor at the Nurburgring; Sabine Schmitz a German professional racing driver, who is widely known as 'Queen of the Ring' with her two-time overall victories at the 24 Hr of Nurburgring in a BMW. http://dai.ly/x128g8e

  5. Hi all, I would like to ask a few questions. Hope can help. BTW, my genre of song is either audiophile or Chinese slow pop song like those from Jolin Tsai, Cai Chun Jia, Jay Chou and etc. My current setup is only 10' Twister sub which I transfer to my new car and the accoustic doesn't seem to fit in that well as compare to my previos Lancer. I did a few tuning and seem ok. Just like to upgrade to 12' DVC sub with good midbass easily blended in. 1. How come some say sub running at 4ohm sound better than 2ohm? 2. Since my current 2 ch Twister amp is running at 300W RMS bridge at 2ohm, I dun think my amp can drive RF P3 sub, unless I get RF P2. Is that so? 3. I'm considering a few sub. RF P312D2 or RF P312D4, Soundstream XPro-12 or JBL (need to do research). IDMax and SW300 seem like too ex for me. Any other good choice that affordable? 4. Any good and not so expensive mono block that I can change so that I can have more choice of sub? Currently thinking of Soundstream LW 1.800. Any other better choice? 5. To choose a proper sub, wat config I need to take note? Efficiency frequency? My config 1. Pioneer PR80. 2. Audison LRX 4.1 3. Front Focal 165KF 4. Rear Helix Dark Blue 6.2 5. Twister TW 275 Pro (2x300W 600W Max, 2 ohm 2 x 150W) 6. Twister 10' DVC sub.
  6. As above, to drive a 12" Rockford Fosgate/ Punch P3. Kam Siah
  7. Hi, would some1 please advice if the above mentioned equation is true thanks
  8. I just want to generate some discussion and feedback on stereo/mono sub setup. Understand that in most cases, people use only one sub (mono). But most HU has 2 channel sub-out, i.e. L/R. Has anyone tried stereo connection to two subs running both L/R channels? Why do we want to do that? What are the benefits? What do we lose if we just combine the L/R signals into mono?
  9. I am looking for a subwoofer and found this offer for $199, any comments? http://www.pro-rv.com.sg
