....so its a buy call now for boleh land properties??

 

its almost never a buy call as there are abundance of land over there and demand is not going to pick up over time. viet sg and regional countries see their property market boom mainly when foreign investors come in. Without foreign investors, it is hard to move the market. The way malaysia ishandling their affairs, it is hard to see them attracting much foreign investments to create a buzz in their property market

IMO, for most of us; our English is of a good standard.

 

Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to attract lots of MNCs etc to set up their Ops here and employ locals to do the job. Recently due to our high rentals, salaries some of these Ops are being moved out to countries like India, Malaysia, China etc but the common complain has been their poor standard of English in these countries.

 

Naturally, not being from a native English speaking country, we do mix up our English with local phrases from Hokkien to Malay etc. This is quite normal and happens even in countries like Switzerland, Belgium etc where they have a diverse group of natives. My 2 cents....

Well, try asking them to speak Chinese and we can laugh at them as well. Sometimes its not about the Queen's Standard but rather the lack of tolerance and of course, the egocentric nature of some of them. Of course i'm not running the whole lot down but there are some that thinks that just because they are caucasians it means that they are superior to us Asians. Again, I think we should all practise some tolerance. Lets not go down to their level and let live. Cheers to a wonderful 2nd half of the year ahead!!!

A MALAYSIA TOURIST IN LONDON

 

Johan, a 'young' Malaysian tourist on his first visit to London, locates the red light district and enters a large brothel. The madam asks him to be seated and sends over a young lady to entertain the client. They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap.

 

He whispers in her ear and she gasps and runs away!Seeing this, the madam sends over a more experienced lady to entertain the gentleman. They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit,and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she screams, "No!" and walks away quickly.

 

The madam is surprised that this ordinary-looking man has asked for something so outrageous that her two girls will have nothing to do with it.She decides that only her most experienced lady, Lola, will do. Lola looks a bit tired, but she has never said no and it doesn't seem likely that anything would surprise her. So the madam sends her over to Johan.. They sit and talk, frolic a little, ! giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she screams, "NO WAY, BUDDY!", smacks him as hard as she can, and literally runs away too!

 

Madam is by now absolutely intrigued, having seen nothing like this in all her years of operating a brothel. She hasn't done the bedroom work herself for a long time, but she did it for many years before she got into management. She's sure she has said yes at one time or another to everything a man could possibly ask for. The challenge is irresistible.

 

She just has to find out what this man wants that has made her girls so angry. And she sees a chance she can't pass up to show off to her employees how good she was at what they do. So she goes over to Johan and says that she's the best in the house and she, herself, is available. She sits and talks with him.
