Local carpooling app Ryde is set to expand into the taxi-booking market, joining the likes of Grab and Uber, The Straits Times (ST) has learnt.

In addition to finding drivers to hitch a ride with, Ryde's users will be able to book a taxi from ComfortDelGro, the island's largest taxi operator.

The service will be launched later this month.

Most grab pax with kids are not aware or didn't book grab family. I personally do not like the mifold design,  and bought 2 of those conventional booster seats. I explained to pax that grab allow S$2/booster seat. There was 1 trip that the parent insisted no need (other grab drivers also never say must use booster seat,  additional charge arh?). I waived the S$2 charge, otherwise have to cancel the job.

 

Quite unfair for drivers to cancel job due to riders fault with kids under 1.35m

That will affect their CR and it's no fault of theirs.
