Mata at fault. Get TP to saman :D

Maybe an over-enthusiastic rookie mata.  I've seen a few blur ones driving their patrol cars. Usually the newbie is assigned as the driver and the other partner is more lao jiao.

Many in this forum have skills and have tried cars twice as powerful but many ordinary Singaporeans drive 1.6l NA cars. Suddenly they are introduced to 4l Holdens and Fords in Oz, big SUVs in USA, and they go nuts..

So be aware of what we can do, and more important, be aware of what we can't handle..  I drove a lovely Nissan QQ 1.6 TDI, lovely drive around Scotland, it's not power and brawn, but my next trip there or to USA, I want a nice car with decent power, not too big (enough for my wife's shopping) and a nice suspension + engine to wipe round the B roads.. Golf GTI or a BMW 320 perhaps?

the fella langar in Aussie driving a Nissan Qumquat lo

Haha, after driving in India a couple of times, this sort of junction behavior (or should I say misbehavior?) seems very normal to me. I also have to force in liddat lol. Here loudest horn and most garang wins. [laugh]

Can't wait to get back to SG. Need road reprogramming lol. :D

Oh, and the mata needs to be summoned. Either to court or India, his choice. [laugh]

SINGAPORE - A driver lost control of his car and caused damage to three other cars, all because of an iPhone cable.

There were no reported injuries in the accident.

Police said they were alerted to the accident at Pasir Ris Drive 1 towards Pasir Ris Drive 12, involving three cars and one taxi, at 9.27am on Friday (Nov 4).

Mr Yeo, who was one of the drivers in the crash, told Shin Min Daily News that his iPhone charging cable was tangled in the steering wheel and causing it to jam. As a result, he lost control of the car, the Chinese evening daily reported.

His car shot to the right lane and collided into another vehicle, before sending both into the centre divider and dislodging some metal rods.

One of the rods from the road divider flew into the road opposite and jabbed the bonnet of a third car, driven by private hire car driver Mr Goh.

A taxi was also hit by a dislodged metal rod.

Mr Goh told The Straits Times that the taxi had pulled over to pick up a passenger, and he overtook it.

The rod then came flying over, and missed him by about two feet. He jammed his brakes when he saw it.

"Everything was so sudden. If I was going faster, the rod would have hit me," the 26-year-old told The Straits Times.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) sent two fire bikes and an ambulance to the scene.

There were no reported injuries, SCDF said.

Police investigations are ongoing.

How can an iphone cable tangle up the steering wheel? The wire is made of steel cable? Maybe he panicked.

You know some cars electric steering is super light. Proberly he was driving with electric steering and even the slight pull from cable can turn the steering wheel easily.(if he is not lying).. Haha

So well, better to stick to old school on hydraulic steering,, safer.
