LookSkyWalker 1st Gear July 25, 2017 Share July 25, 2017 (edited) Btw, for those bros already got their ride, mind to share if the USB at the headunit can be used for charging? Or merely media playback nia..Wants to know too. Also, other then MP3, what other file formats can it playback? Think this info should be available in the car manual. And, what is the Pioneer model number? Thanks. Edited July 25, 2017 by LookSkyWalker

andrewyewkc 5th Gear July 26, 2017 Share July 26, 2017 Finally went to test drive the Harrier yesterday. Made the mistake of going the MB and BM (not borneo) showrooms before the Harrier test drive against the good advice given to me here, so wifey could not accept the aesthetics of the Harrier. The earlier test drive reviews given here were quite accurate, power is initially low but once you step on the accelerator the delivery is strong and linear. Steering and handling is nowhere near the germans. Suspension feels stiff to me. The Harrier is still a good and wise choice.

andrewyewkc 5th Gear July 26, 2017 Share July 26, 2017 wife got only 4 criteria for car a) Looks b) Badge c) Got space or not for them to seat song song d) Price Haha, she is not interested in whether the car has turbo or not or what transmission. Anyway I am happy for the bros who have booked their Harrier. The label on the Harrier showed 177g/km of CO2 which should carry a $10,000 surcharge (Band C1) in 2018 although my SE still say this is not confirmed. Bros should book early to avoid this. Ben5266 Supercharged July 26, 2017 Share July 26, 2017 Coming back to profit margin, you can check One Motoring Website. https://www.onemotoring.com.sg/content/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/buy_a_new_vehicle/car_cost/_jcr_content/main_par/download/file.res/Car_Cost_Update.pdf Of course Harrier Turbo is not in the list yet, You can use other model to gauge Example Toyota Previa Aeras (row 267 in the list) OMV $34,489k COE $50,110 SP: $162k Profit: $17,169k Harrier Turbo (Luxury) OMV $35,700 (July batch registration) COE: $50,001 (19th July) SP: $160k (now price) Profit: you gauge yourself

The turbo to me really matters when buying my car but most days I am just driving in Eco mode, so I do not know how many times the turbo actually kick in every day. Judging by the high interest in Harrier Turbo, I think most select it because it is Toyota and it is supported by BM.
Vratenza Supersonic July 26, 2017 Share July 26, 2017 IF 2016 model Harrier 2.0 NA CVT (exact same one PI selling), BM launch at $150k, I strongly believe the 400 confirmed booking will see a drastic reduction to 398 who else agrees? AFWE69 2nd Gear July 26, 2017 Share July 26, 2017 Previa kena $10k CEV. Harrier Turbo maybe $0 CEV. So, margin is about $25k lor.... Btw, BMW X3's OMV is only $34k. This Harrier is more ex than X3 outside of Singapore. Wow! I didn't realize X3 and Harrier Turbo Luxury have the same OMV, the price difference is huge.
