If registered before 30/6, should be able to siam the VES.

Please correct me if I am wrong, thatâs my understanding.

Yes. So if the dealers are not confident of registering by end of June, they will tell you it will cost more. That’s what Borneo did

Just got an used car from a dealer whom is clearing his stock of vesal and harrier...a fren recently bought one from a PI at 135k with similar specs to the one this dealer is clearing at 130k sticker. I think can still nego a bit if he’s desperate. He did lamented about the VES upsetting the market and would like to clear his inventory before June.

Not related to the dealer or have any kickback...just sharing what I saw...

Which means to say if before the ves kicks in, my parf will still be half of my omv at the end of the 10 years? Correct? So it’s 28k / 2 = 14 and not 28 -20 / 2 = 4

What happens if I get a car before the ves kicks in or before? The ves penalty is 20k for that car.

If I were to buy it before the deadline, would I be affected by the 20k penalty? Itâs a euro 5 diesel and omv is 28 k

BUYING and REGISTERING the car is different hor.

Turbocharged

How come all the car dealer increase the price already when VES is not even here

to spread fear, COE will filter down accordingly and the car price will remains the same.

So chances are that coe will drop to compensate.

U don't know bm pattern meh. Coe drop sometimes their price go up or remain the same.

Your calculations is wrong la.

ARF = (20k + (8k x 140%))

PARF = (ARF - rebate) x 50%

Or

ARF x 50%
