Yes my kids friend had this when came over on playdate, according to wife.

when my girl started school that time, this hasn't really came to sg yet. 

But the school is quite strict on handphone usage within classes. And we fetch 100% of the time. So not a big deal.

Hmm my wife and I are the only ones who are involved in my kids upbringing. My wife quit after my son was born. My girl was 2+ then. They never go full day childcare. So in a sense, since their formative years, they never tend to compare or envy. 

my kids also don't have obsessive personalities which is just luck of the draw. 

We have complete control over their time. I'm lucky enough that I earn enough to provide my kids with what they need. Books, toys, sports/exercise or music development. 

Its not like they have no screen time. They play android games, pc games and switch. 

I just told my girl that day. You don't need a phone yet, it's a want. Adults need phones for their work and every life. 

Also the school is strict about no phone usage, so they mostly talk about phone usage rather than use it outright in class. Like obviously this won't work in sec school. BTW one of my friends kid didn't have hp in sec 3. That one is extreme. Even I don't agree. 

 

Only thing a bit lacking is social life since both us parents are introverts. Unfortunately due to me staying not close to my friends and everybody's busy schedule, seldom have playdates with other kids. My kids are also introverts.

1 thing that parents should curb is the immediate need to use a digital device when the kids feel even slightly bored.

That's a rabbit hole that doesn't end. Just like how we can spend hours on our phones, and realise it only a long time later. The kids brains are not developed to prevent this. Your pre frontal cortex is only fully developed at age 25.

I can see kids come into the consult room, their game or video is still playing on the phone. And they can't even pause it without being explicitly instructed. Some even play while talking to you.

Clear casing just buy from shopee China seller. Takes about one week for delivery. 2 dollars niah.

I paid 168 I think. But I don't use shopeepay etc. 

If I want discounts. Usually I use Lazada bonus cos it's the most easy one to claim.

Good that your kids no envy or compare. Not easy for this era where there are so many temptation, people whether kids or adults like to compare and envy. 😅

They are still young. When they are older, sure will compare one lah. 

There's always someone richer. Someone smarter. Someone prettier or more handsome.

Living in gcb. Got driver. kids that go for ski holidays in niseko almost every year. Aspen sometimes. A normal run of the mill holiday is just Tokyo Disneyland.

Son was out getting bread for tomorrow breakfast. This is the app shown on wifey phone. Phone, contact, camera and heart rate. GPS online tracking. No social media.

Tbh. never heard of this brand. 

Gsmarena only have like 2 models of this brand.
