Honking isn't road rage. Thumping on bonnet is road rage. I don't see any wrong for driver to sound his hone.

I would do likewise do the same to sound my hone. Safest to alert them and keep a distance away.

Even sounding the horn many more times is less much less aggressive than hammering on the car. 
I am curious to find out who the cyclist is. Why no guts to just pedal away. 🤣

The road has 3 lanes. Just move to the next lane.

These pests can be a normal person at normal times but when cycling become a prick. Same with that lawyer who jumped onto the bonnet at east coast. Looks so gentle but become she hulk when cycling. 

Like eveyone farking owed them and MUST look out for them.

Can't take the sound of hone than install one on your bike. Can't install a horn on your bike than keep off the road.

In certain south east Asia countries honing is part and parcel of daily commute. The problem here is that driver don't want or dont dare to use their hone. Thus cultivated a self entitled ego boasting pest (cyclist, pedestrian, driver) community that react badly to the slightest of hone.

That's why it's important to find out one's own threshold before going out to terrorise...i mean sexercise...everyone needs different amount of oxygen to keep the neck up cooled...my cycling regime is macam my 2.4k run...multiple start stops...can reach destination safely is good enuf...anything else is a bonus...😅

these middle aged man and women may not be strawberry. But they are certainly strawberry at heart: ego easily bruised. 

They are always an obstruction to traffic and surely, some will be frustrated and honk at them. Ungracious or not, they will have to accept it.

I think on average I honk once a day. Just did this morning as a old teenager dashed out on his bike from behind (from my perspective) a parked car to go to the other side of the road. If I were 2 seconds earlier likely would lose my license.
