At least they rode in single file rather than 2 by 2, which is most annoying.

 

I find those big groups in single file more annoying. So long train. Very difficult to overtake especially if I need to turn left soon. I'd rather they cycle 2 abreast so that I can overtake them faster.

Today I had again two very ruthless cyclists in front of me on the road. They drove side by side and blocked the whole street. After honking, they also insulted me. Why do you do that? This not only endangers you but also others.

The problem is some of these cyclists know the rules of riding abreast and they are so inconsiderate that they will ride side by side and block at least half a lane. Government should remove the riding abreast regulation.

You refer to the lines "Ride in single file when possible" and "Riders may only cycle two abreast on roads with at least two lanes (not including a bus lane during its operation hours) in the same direction" on the sections of On-Road Cycling?

 

I can't understand why it cannot be indicated as "Ride in single file only, unless overtaking". It minimises any misunderstanding.

Even if the cyclist takes up 1/3 of the lane, it shouldn't be a reason for drivers to move close enough to "share the lane".  I don't get why some (and I don't mean all) cars would want to go close in a two-or-more lanes road in the early hours where traffic is light.

It is why i have the word "haha" after my sentence. Cyclist or not, i have hardly ever used my honk. Probalbly less than once a year or less.

Cuz on roads with more than 1 lane, they can still cycle abreast even when not overtaking.

Even commuters also know how to move to the left on the escalator to allow other to overtake. Some cyclists simply don't have the courtesy to allow faster vehicles overtake. And yet ask drivers to share the road.

To a lot of cyclists and now PMD users, traffic light rules does not apply to them until they met with an accident. These group of people think that they're the king of the road.

Somehow i do not have any sympathy for the e-bike...

 

Am pretty sure the bike should be confiscated too - which might be a blessing in disguise for the owner or he/they might be more seriously hurt in the near future...
