Should never have postponed the games.

Clubs are so rich should have just tested every one at the club.

If not infected then they play.

If have then quarantine them.

:D

And play games in empty stadiums to protect the fans.

And show all the games free on TV so people stay at home and not get corona.

Quite a good idea[thumbsup]

I agree that it's more important to finish this season then bother about next. The only drawback with this idea is what about players who are out of contract at end June 2020? If next season is cxl then they could possible be out of work since there is no new season till Aug 2021.

Besides the title, what's even more important is the promo/relegation plus the qualification for Euro places as there is a lot of $ and legal issues if the season is uncompleted.

TV sponsorship deals may require the teams to pay back 600-700 m of season is not completed  so money talks. Must finish this season no matter what. Delayed ending is ok!!!!

EPL 19/20 is more of a disruption, it'd worsen each day than expected, reported many players has fully recovered from Covid-19 due to their strong immune system, happy to hear like M.Fellani, P.Dybala, Pepe Reina, S.Raggett, E.Mangala, P. Cutrone etc

despite recovery thy also have to grasp with transfer market window opens , players training at home based training and lost of sponsorship image right during closure.

Players adaptation once opens do ex-players has the ' Right ' to criticise former manager ( promises not delivered ) force to quit or row over pay rise during difficult period before contract runs up . . .

I don’t know how EPL will end. All the different suggestions like end it as it stands, formula to award points for the games not played, voiding it etc hv their pros n cons.

Awarding Pool the title is the easy part. Promotion/Relegation n the European places are the tricky ones. Actually voiding the season is perhaps the fairest if not for the fact that Pool is so far ahead in the title race but then if u award the title to the Reds then u hv to have relegation clubs decided etc but how to do that as Villa has played a game less than the rest n would avoid the drop if they win that game in hand.

The other issue is the money from TV who would surely demand compensation if the season were voided. This would make many EPL clubs into financial trouble. Nvr imagine a virus could bring down the mighty EPL..........

Turbocharged

lockdown period so someone trying to catch attention 🤣

think this guy is on drugs loll

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8352297/Ryan-Giggs-called-average-former-Premier-League-player-Curtis-Woodhouse.html

'Ryan Giggs, another unbelievably overrated Manchester United player,' he said in a Twitter post.

'Outstanding longevity but in a team that dominated for years and were a free scoring machine his statistics for goals and assists is awful. Another Manchester United myth, good player, never anything more.

'Giggs has 162 assists in the PL over 22 years to go with his 109 goals, again over 22 years. His team dominated them 22 years of football breaking scoring records as they went.

'Ryan Giggs was a left winger, looking at his stats you may confuse him with a left back.

'Giggs didn't even have a good left foot!! He was a outstanding athlete but his left foot wasn't that good. His delivery was OK, not great, he couldn't spray it about, he was a great athlete.

'Let's keep it real. Giggs was a good player. Steady away down the left hand side, great energy, great pace.

'Good player, just not a great player, never had a world class season in 22 attempts but still a good player. Never poor but never brilliant, a good steady player.'
